Eh, there was really just a period of time after traditional barriers were lowered when jews were jews and swarmed into academia, using what positions they had, inside and outside of the field, underhandedly to promote each other, publish each other, spread outrageous tales of each others' capabilities, and help each other grab credit so they had more positions to use underhandedly.
That's why interpretation of QM and relativity is such a mess. The conversation was dominated by jews leveraged into positions they didn't deserve where they tried to pose as the originators of ideas they didn't understand.
We still haven't straightened out this mess. As in other fields, when kicking the jews out ceased to be an option, emulating their tactics became the rule. So now we've got stuff like string theory and arguments about how many angels can dance on the singularity of a black hole in place of real study of physics.
