>tfw you realize the elevation of your pseudo-bourgeoisie revolution requires the cooperation of a bunch of peasants that can't even read your work
Seriously, there must be some comment on this from the side of Marxist criticism. They wrote so much, and yet they wrote it all for nobody. Is this why Communism had to be Utopian?
Elijah Carter
>write lofty works to sow the seeds for rebellion among petit bourgeoisie >distribute pamphlets to peasants and working class
Marxism advocates for education for all which appeals to those who can't read because they know they should be able to. Not like the movement didn't have speakers who would explain that
Logan Parker
Yeah, because you're average person gives a fuck about politics.
Brody Long
yeah, the average person kinda does, when it pertains to them.
Not all countries are shitholes like the US
Robert Perry
People in the US care more about politics thatn Europeans. Europeans are weird little neutered hyperbourgeois manbabies, completely hollowed out of praxis by state socialism.
Prosperous continentals mistake Anglo competitiveness for brashness or crudeness because they are all Prussian Bonapartists whose states run their entire lives. They pretend to do critical theory but they can't recognise Gemeinschaft when it smacks them in the face.
One fat Trump voter is more authentic than a thousand European "politically engaged citizens" jerking off to neo-neo-neo-neo-liberalism in their first world prole castles.
Elijah Reyes
>Not all countries are shitholes like the US Just a reminder to everybody laughing about American education: we are smarter than you. We have the best universities on the planet, have the most living Nobel Prize winners of any nation, and are responsible for countless inventions and scientific and intellectual accomplishments which your lives depend on every day. We earned the position of world's most intelligent nation through the American education system and the imperial measurement system, and we will keep this position through these .
>muh immigrants >muh per capita
Sorry but these are invalid arguments. The intellectual power of the United States of America is stronger than any of your nations, bar none. Immigrants who choose to make use of our superior universities and higher education system usually become American citizens in order to work alongside their American genius friends and colleagues, making them just as American as me or any of my countrymen. I understand that this might make some of you feel inadequate, so you pick on nonexistent SJW classes that, while retarded, are offered to students because America is a land of freedom to learn anything you choose no matter what. This is our strength, and this is what makes us better than you.
America out *drops mike*
Anthony Gonzalez
you don't know half as much as you think you do about the U.S. education system my boy
>only focusing on higher ed >ignoring the absolutely broken systems of education below that
screenshotting this to send to friends, thank you
Caleb Young
>you don't know half as much as you think you do about the U.S. education system my boy I know much more than you simply because I'm an American who attends an American university i.e. I'm objectively smarter than you and attend a school better than every single institution of learning in your irrelevant and unaccomplished country
Next time, think twice before trying to match wits with an American. Your self-esteem will be in a better place if I don't have to puncture your personal mythology
Ayden White
As an American at a school on that list, I'd like it to be known that I think our country is slowly going to deteriorate (at least from an intellectual standpoint) because of our university-level education. I'm a genuinely smart guy, and I know many genuinely smart people who weren't able to attend universities where they definitely would have been capable of taking advantage of the opportunities available to them. However, instead, my peers are either kids who worked really hard to go to a top university because it will look good on their resume, or foreign kids who have been groomed for the stereotypical picture of "success".
I feel like these top schools are becoming factories for high achievers to make their way up the socioeconomic ladder as opposed to a gateway for the best and brightest of the country to learn and cultivate ideas that might one day change the world.
Easton Martin
This. College education is dead and it's current purpose is shitting out workers.
Jaxon Robinson
Is it me or Veeky Forums has never heard of Schumpeter?
Liam Harris
Blame state colleges.
Parker Garcia
>Veeky Forums >reading a book about Economics other than Capital
If Veeky Forums had read Schumpeter and Bohm von Bawerk there would be no marxists here
Henry Turner
I've never witnessed yuro's get btfo'd this hard before.
Wyatt Flores
Bohm Bawerk got dismantled by his own former student Bukharin
Cooper Edwards
Ludwig V Mises is the real G. He totally BTFOs socialists
Luis Bennett
>I feel like these top schools are becoming factories for high achievers to make their way up the socioeconomic ladder
thats always been the purpose, of life, and especially higher education, especially the top schools
William Allen
You educate cadres and revolutionaries who will educate the peasants and workers in turn, teaching them literacy and culture. It's embarrassing how little you guys seem to know about basic Marxism sometimes.
Henry Bell
i thought you didnt believe in trickle down economics?
Camden Diaz
I fail to see what trickle-down economics has to do with public education under Marxist governments.
Ryder Davis
Read George Orwell's Road to Wigan Pier.
Self-proclaimed communists/socialists don't love the poor, they just have resentment of the rich for not being rich themselves.
