That's what the internet does to you. According to a study, extensive online use makes the brain adapt to the reality that it doesn't need to remember everything anymore, when the necessary information can be obtained through google anytime. Which is why committing less relevant information to long-term memory is becoming increasingly difficult.

I've been trying to review the non-fiction books I read but I've been lazy recently. I don't know how Hadrian does it, I wish I was smart. I don't even bother reviewing novels etc because it's too subjective and also not in my wheelhouse.

1 = Absolutely terrible
2 = Wouldn't generally recommend
3 = Pretty decent
4 = Very good
5 = Personal favourite

It's incredible. Fantastic prose delivering fascinating information. My only complaint is that the dialogue is a little silly, but that's to be expected in a book of its sort. I haven't read any of it in a while because my limited time would make reading something so long torturous, but I'll probably read the rest of it around Christmas.
