It makes no sense to discuss the topic at all in that way. The observation is that many jews chose to be scientists and the observation is that many of them are very successful at it. I have little to no reason to doubt that observation. I'm not sure why you would doubt that observation. There is no better measure for one's capability to succeed in science than fucking success in science.

What makes western europe special is that it's catholic and protestant. In catholic and protestant countries the christians were not allowed to do certain jobs. The jews then specialized in those areas and dominated them. Those areas happened to be the ones that later would become the upper classes of society.
