If, despite the cosmically small chance of it happening, I reproduce and have a daughter then, no, I wouldn't call her that. I'd call her Alice or something equally cute. Why the hell would you hand out greek names anyway? Greeks are shit.

Oh, I also always thought that if I ever had a daughter, I would like to name her Alice; it's a really cute, yet elegant name! :)

No, I'd call her Sophia or Embla.

Not that i'll ever have kids though.

why do you think you're not going to have kids?

I want to unironically call my potential daughter Ada desu.

I have nothing to offer a 21st century woman that they can't get themselves.

Named my daughters Livy Olivia and Felicity.

Wanted Patience but got voted out.

>I have nothing to offer a 21st century woman that they can't get themselves.

Sperm in the context of a traditional relationship that won't encourage other females to gossip.

If I have a daughter I am going to name her either Joyce, Alice, or after myself, Rose

Bringing a child into this world is an act of cruelty and torture.

If you haven't noticed, the only people on the planet who care about or value "traditional relationships" are fanatical religious people, like Baptist Americans and Salafi Muslims.

I care about it and I'm not a fanatic religious.

New England WASPs truly give a shit.

How are you pronouncing it?
ILL-ee-ass

Stress should properly be on the ultima.
/Jli'ɑs/

It's a lovely name
I wish some Greek names like Agatha and Dorcas were more favored, if not overused like Zoe is

fucking, I forgot Veeky Forums fucks up IPA. That first letter should be the small capital I.

what the fuck is that thing

Post-Structural Beauty without a Y Chromosome

>I care about it and I'm not a fanatic religious.

So, why do you value it, when you don't have a reason?

Because I believe traditional values are what allowed the Western World to see its golden days.

Not him, but the pleasures of home, hearth, community, in the shared ideals of Anglo-American culture, and education is obviously superior to the culture of victimhood, the school of resentment, consumption, and the cult of technology.

When were the golden days?

Apropos the thread, it's Ilia (plus her reflection, so Ilias)

In France, probably XII-XIX century.

This. Women belong in the kitchen

>implying this isn't a false dichotomy

kek, for whom?

While I believe that you can apply traditional values such as the nuclear family, moral "true religion" and gender norms if not roles to todays, outright reactionary politics have never, ever succeeded in the modern era.

the very notion of post-structural society is exactly the antithesis of the aforementioned. Simply by stating that traditional community and family values is inherently oppressive draws a line in the sand.

No so. A woman can become a doctor, but she can still be feminine and a mother and participate in community life. It ISNT about oppression, but about maintaining the ties that bind and make us stronger.

I wouldn't name my daughter anything, because having a child is an act of cruelty.

Would you trust, say, a women surgeon or a women pilot???

Thought not. They belong in the home.

>Would you trust, say, a women surgeon
Wife is a doctor, so yes. I've seen plenty of boneheaded doctors, and they are not gendered.

>Patience
kys

You could adopt

>multiple question marks
>answering his own question
False flag ahoy!

no.

>Consistently posting worst girl
Post Wakaba or get out.

en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Ἰλιάς

But why is Kozue-chan worst, o wise one of Wakaba?

she's the designated slut in a cast of sluts

Point? Her style is fine.

I'll fucking fight you

>Rose

Pretty weird name for a guy. Or are you trans?

...why?

...

reading is a girl hobby too

Take the redpill, Find a husband and settle down, Never read again, hate yourself and your sex, etc.

men are barbaric

Screee, and so on.

Don't trust that other guy, but try not to wait until you're 30. Every younger spinster I've met (30-40) seemed kind of resentful.

Women are barbaric too, they're just more subtle about it.

No such thing. It's simply more tolerated by the masses.

There are some Old Testament names that deserve a comeback:
Esther
Eve
Leah
Rachel

Barbarism isn't barbarism if it's subtle user

>Rose
;J;

Esther is a beautiful name, but often it doesn't mesh with last names well

Okay, Casey Anthony. Don't you have more infants to murder?

>Women are barbaric too, they're just more subtle about it.

You mean it's more socially acceptable for women to be barbaric because their "enemy" are men.

>all these men telling a girl on the Internet how to be a woman
Ugh

I thought Veeky Forums was better than this

Well, everywhere else in real life culture it's women telling men how to be men, so I guess you'll just have to deal with it when it happens the other way around princess.

We named our son Leto [/s poiler]

Well it's not, ya dense cunt

>cunt
Don't use words like this if you want women to like you

>if you want women to like you

This isn't the 1950s. Men don't like women anymore.

Having male twins, older one will be called Alexander, what should I call the other one (also male)

James.

Julius?
Hector?
Hephæstio?
Phillip?
Paris?
Jason?

Hephaestion

>implying any woman would be self-hating enough to let me cum inside her

This

/thread

I would name her Helen

this is such a red-pilled answer
be my friend

1789 dealt a blow, 1870 was the end

there's nothing elegant about alice. it conjures images of a sallow middle-aged woman with an aquiline nose

Anastasia
Elizabeth
Vega
Rita

fucking plebs the rest of you

>Anastasia
>Vega
Those are whore names, dingus.

How's life in America?

Jason

I am probably not going to have biological children. If I adopt, it will be a boy.

Even so, I don't like that name.

Kekked

Hector?

>Would you name your daughter Ilias?
What do you not understand? It takes two to make a daughter, and two to name them.
Anyway, I do not even have a clue.

To be honest I also want to die in the inevitable uprising by the useless-have-become humans against the machines and their cyborg overlords. Not sure I should be having a child when there will possibly such an existential endgame desu.

Can we make a list of the most patrician names?

I would, if you are good looking enough. Money doesn't appeal to me at all, and neither do people who identify as intellectuals.

Tomás
t. Tomás

I have the most pleb nickname ever.

t. Jay

>if you are good looking enough
The opposite is the implication here.

I named my daughter alice.

Roxanne. Underrated name that needs to be brought back.

...

>not naming your daughter Hephaestus

no but really, lola as in lolita.

My two favorite daughter names are both taken from the anime Code Geass, which I still love after all these years.

I'd potentially name my daughter either Cornelia or Camilla; if I named her Camilla, I'd call her Milly for short.

Fortunately, I have a great aunt named Camilla, so that name is actually in my family. I'd have to bullshit a bit with Cornelia, though.

MAYBE LOVE IS THE REASON WHY

PUT ON THE RED LIGHT

Why not just name her Camellia?

As long as I can call her Milly, whatever.

On the other hand, Cornelia was the name of Pompey's indefatigable wife, so I could pass that off as me being a lover of the Classics.

mm no. i wouldnt have kids.

i named my cat Sylvia. Suits her to a T, but i usually just call her Kitty anyway

Pandora
Rabi'a
Benevolence

>Pandora
I'd like to open her box if you know what I mean ;)

i dont like it so i made it longer to rosemary
