Are there any Veeky Forums approved magazines?
Not sure if The New Yorker counts, but it's the first thing that came to mind.

The New Yorker certainly does not count
Watching this made me lose every ounce of respect I may have had for it:
youtube.com
The search bar.
>The New Yorker certainly does not count
I thought as much after going through the other New Yorker thread earlier.
What does count though?
Que?
>What does count though?
I like the New England Review
Lapham's Quarterly
The New Yorker is full of itself, and itself is full of shit.
Journal of the Early Republic. Maybe the American Historical Review, on a good day.
Lit Quarterly
Does anyone here read The Virginia Quarterly Review?
OP here, forgot to mention one thing: is there any Veeky Forums approved magazine that's free to read online?
t. third world europoor
Used to, back in the Genoways days. Not so good in recent years.
The Paris Review, it has some great interviews too. theparisreview.org
Vulture Magazine though it rarely covers novelists is really good
Would anyone care to tell me whether The London Magazine is a decent title? They have a great reputation of publishing the early work of talented authors but are they still reputable?
Dogshit
>They have a great reputation of publishing the early work of talented authors
Every magazine claims this, it isn't hard
New Criterion
you know, I think I got rejected from lit quarterly, and maybe even banned my IP
Cheers. Unfortunately I'll more than likely be submitting short stories to them in the near future for the sake of a CV.

>Meanwhile, Paul Krugman, the Times’s resident economic buffoon,
damn! shots fired!
bingo
The front of each issue is just one long carp against whatever vaguely sjw-ish thing has occurred in the news lately. That sounds tedious, and I don't generally subscribe to their brand of cultural conservatism, but it is so satisfying to read.
