Post a pic of your prettiest book

Post a pic of your prettiest book.
Mine is LotR in finnish, printed 1985. It's falling apart and has coffee and blood stains all over it but I still love it.

I bet you don't even own a fedora. Full pleb.

Far from the best books I own.

But I don't own many hardbacks so these are the best looking ones

Not the prettiest but I particularly like this edition of Jean Cocteau's diaries from his Beauty and the Beast, it's very simple but the color and font are pleasant to me.

KJV Bible from Barnes & Noble. Really comfy and Doré's illustrations makes it a very nice read.

tacky as fuck brah

>publish the Bible
>make it blasphemous

Pomo as fuck

The B&N Narnia is pretty cute.

Just got this.

I wish I had the money for those editions.

Butifol. Great color and details.

Jump off bridge plz

upvote my good sir

how similar is finnish and elvish?

Probably nothing at all with the exception that they are both agglutinative.

...Why does your book have blood stains on it, OP?

There are some lexical similarities too, aesthetic ones for the most part.

Got a nosebleed out of nowhere while reading. After that I also sneezed which made it even more messy.

I'm no expert but there's not much, some names sound similar and that's about it. Tolkien apparently was a fan of Kalevala, book of Finnish folk tales.

le bump

leather-bound tomes are not fash

did it hurt when you sneezed

even though the translation isn't very good, this portuguese edition is beautiful.

kek

The only thing keeping me back from buying this bible is the ridiculous cover and gilded edges and the fact that it's made in China. Otherwise it is probably the best bible I've seen. Thick paper, great illustration, big font, sufficient spacing, almost everything is there at an affordable price.

I don't know, happened years ago. Are you trying to analyse my nose for cancer or something?

>bible
>thick paper
>big font

Those 3 things should never go together.

Disgusting.

Fuark, mirin.

Also
>pogany
That means filthy or wicked in my mother tongue. What a shitty surname to have.

What is your first language?

Fake! That's obviously the Quran

I'm poor

That Alice is the best book cover ever done.
