Rose was a physicist, but she didn't speak of it often. The charming thing about intelligent women is less about technical knowledge and more about self-awareness. There's not much intellectually sexier than a woman who can not only take a joke but can also throw a good one back, who can call out her own bullshit and have others call her out without her getting genuinely pissy about it, who doesn't take herself too seriously and can act foolish while acknowledging that she's being foolish just for shits and giggles.
