Didnt see a shelf thread in the catalogue, post em

too mainstream, u look like a pleb without some obscure selections

I am a pleb honestly, i do have other shelves but theyre probably more mainstream

library of trump's commerce secretary willbur ross in his manhattan townhouse

someone shop in the meme trilogy

Kant but no hume? In for a rough time

1/1 Warhammer 40,000

2/3 DVDs and etc

3/3 comic books.

I have have One Punch Man, the rest of My Hero Academia, and some more Warhammer in a drawer because I ran out of space on the shelves

that is pretty dank, a little tacky but not terrible, especially for Trump&co.

ugh scratch that, chandeliers in rooms other than the foyer, ball room or dining room
dude is an official tacky-ass nouveau riche fuccboi

lol our new sec. of commerce is named wilbur

what a fucking hillbilly

>Ross drove two hours a day from New Jersey to attend the elite Catholic college preparatory Xavier High School in Manhattan. He ran track and was captain of the rifle team. He earned a BA degree from Yale College, which was also his father's alma mater. At Yale, Ross edited one of the literary magazines and worked at the radio station. Ross's art collection is conservatively valued at $150 million and includes pieces ranging from Western surrealists to contemporary Eastern sculptures.

sounds pretty fuckin patrish to me

The ideal politician 2bh

Almost none of these look read m8

>read mostly pirated ebooks
>no awesome shelf full of patrician books
>even if I did have one, have no one to show it off too
>can't even take pictures to show you guys

Where's the cigar box and the cut glass whiskey decanter?

...

Because none of them are, I really am a pleb

Wilbur here's the kinda feller thinks books're for decoratin'.

Every time

Camelot 3000 is pretty decent.

>new money
>went to Yale when only the offspring of blue blood families went there.

I don't think you know what you're talking about.

That shelf is so fucking comfy user.

Why are you using money as a bookmark in Steinbeck's book lol

Get Tolkien's Beowulf.

It's better.

Are you me / 10.

Well im pretty old compared to most here.

Prob mid 20s. How are the grandkids?

I've never seen anyone be more wrong in all my life.

thanks, built it myself
as you can see I grab the nearest piece of paper and use it as a bookmark.
will do, thanks for the rec

I meant the books on it. Not the shelf itself.

oh

okay

>That shelf is so fucking comfy
>I meant the books
>not the shelf
>That shelf is so fucking comfy

you're a dimwitted fucking asshole

Here's this fuckin mess.

i like and respect your honesty. you are not pleb.

No idea what they are like but every warhammer book is chunky as fuck. They just scream 'paid by the word'.

That said I want them and I don't even play warhammer.

I also want to get into Judge Dredd but damn if it isn't an expensive road to go down.

>The prestine canon.shelf
>mfw I could build this but I've already fucked up the spines on the ones I own

I've heard the Gaunt's Ghosts series is a good place to start with WH40k reading.

My shelf has a mix of paperback and hardback, even within a given series. Should I just kill myself?

no don't worry. Having these aesthetic shelves won't make you happy.

>Who would you like on your bust, sir? A great writer, a scientist, maybe one of the Founding Fathers?
>Hm, interesting choice, let me think it over...
>5 seconds later
>HORSE.

>*posts shelf pic*
>ooh i hope someone validates me
>ooh please someone say something
>please someone give me a sweet sweet you
>"Cool taste user"

This is why I don't post here.

The anticipation of validation, the sweet high when I get it, then the post orgasm blues when I realise it didn't solve anything.

Or crushing witticisms which make me feel worthless in all I do and like.

cool taste in youtubers user :)

...

Mid 30s. No grandkids but my oldest son is 10

Cant handle the bants

>My shelf has a mix of paperback and hardback
Well that's no problem user
>even within a given series
You're beyond saving

Exactly. I find myself shitposting and saying opinions I don't even believe just to get someone anyone to reply because I have no one lmayo :^) i want to die

There's very little benefit to posting here. People on Veeky Forums are assholes. Why purposely torture myself with them?

People are nice when you have good taste

>adjusting my taste so that people will like me

I'd be no worse than 90% of Game of Throne audience

If you have to adjust your taste then you probably have bad taste

Those chunky books are omnibuses. most of them were released individually as trilogies before being collected in the big omnibuses

If you want to give Judge Dredd a try, I'd suggest Complete Case Files 2. It has a bunch of classic stories like The CUrsed Earth and The Day the Law Died, and it's really where they figured out the world of Judge Dredd and the comic hit it's stride. It's only 20 bucks, and each complete case file will last you a long time, so it'snot a bad deal

...

I've been meaning to organize it

while you're organizing throw out those halo/star wars books

+1 for Desperation. Read that shit at age 14. Haven't read any King since.

I'm not an elitist prick bro. I don't pretend to read books so people think I'm smart

this and It. are petty entertaining

Nice action bible. My kid loves it.

what edition of moby dick is that?

> implying that's a bad thing

I like the pkd collection but your ellison collection is lacking IHNMAIMS. My ellison collection is better and your pkd is a bit better. I do have a couple ace doubles featuring pkd though. I can't comment much about your fantasy collection though since i don't read much of it. Over all i give it a 5/10 for lack of anything but sff.

This is me.

I do have I Have No Mouth But I Must Scream -- it's in both those copies of Alone Against Tomorrow.

I love those Snoopy bookends

made me laugh; here, have a (You)

Why is your Ulysses huge as fuck and why is mine about as thin as a magazine
