All memes aside, this book really explains the academic gap between certain groups

...

>Herrnstein and Murray were criticized for not submitting their work to peer review before publication, despite presenting it as a scholarly work.[4][7] Many scholarly reviews of the book arrived later. Richard Lynn (1999) wrote that "The book has been the subject of several hundred critical reviews, a number of which have been collected in edited volumes".
>the book "contains no new arguments and presents no compelling data to support its anachronistic social Darwinism" and said that the "authors omit facts, misuse statistical methods, and seem unwilling to admit the consequence of their own words."[5]
>"There is certainly no such support for a genetic interpretation...It is sometimes suggested that the Black/White differential in psychometric intelligence is partly due to genetic differences (Jensen, 1972). There is not much direct evidence on this point, but what little there is fails to support the genetic hypothesis"
ok

No one of the critics is a well known empirically working psychologist.

Does it explain the academic gap between /pol/tards and Veeky Forums users?

>In response to the controversy surrounding The Bell Curve, the American Psychological Association's Board of Scientific Affairs established a special task force to publish an investigative report on the research presented in the book

>empirically working psychologist

kek, nice meme

>Veeky Forums
>anything but pseudo intellectuals

Yeah /pol/ is mostly red pilled STEM majors while Veeky Forums are brainlets who feel smart because they read this piece of garbage.

You understand that putting down Veeky Forums just means that /pol/ must be really stupid, right?

>he couldn't read Wallace

this
>read a few of shakespeares books
>suddenly think you are intellectually superior
Natsoc with 137 IQ here

>Yeah /pol/ is mostly red pilled STEM majors
KEK

What a deep contribution of you, a performative speech act with which you want to do your part to close the self percieved academic gap between the boards.

not that user
>implying american republicans arent also brainlets

>137
pull your pants back up, kiddo.

btw Veeky Forums has a substantial STEM demographic. myself included.

/pol/ is far more intelligent than Veeky Forums, it's only issue is that it is too large and fast for real discussion to be had

you people tend to jump through a lot of of hoops just to sound intellectual, so forgive me for being somewhat skeptical

you realize this is criticism of the NSDAP right?

>/pol/ is far more intelligent than Veeky Forums, it's only issue is that its a place that only attracts dumb people

>americans
>intelligence
lulz, they think we'll let some of them talk about joyce or translate french

>Search up DOI
>Non-existant
>Results go exactly against literally every study that shows that moderates are more intelligent than extremists on both sides.
Not that it matters. Because left wingers are generally poor failures in life, while rich and successful people vote right wing because they understand the value of hard work

its debunking for the retarded burgers that autistically screech >national socialism is socialist hurr
that happens a lot on /pol/

For a psuedo intellectual you use the word dumb quite a bit.

No the issue is that the board moves to fast. Learn to read

I dont actually care whether or not you believe me.
you would already know if you weren't a crossposter.

sorry that you are too intellectually superior for me user

My Professors (i studied biochemistry and biostatistics) told me the associations of psychologist are mostly dominated by clinical psychologist, who believe in all kinds of crap like psychoanlysis and in useless medicaments, because they have bad statistics skills. From my interactions with them and their publications i've read, i'm pretty sure my professors were right.

i like the book because it discusses something that's sorta taboo to discuss right now.

i kinda find the /pol/ circejerking over it distasteful. i don't quite understand how you go directly from
> according to this, black people have a slightly lower IQ than others
to
> we need to gas the kikes and lynch the niggers

does it explain why americans are dumber than everyone else?

>it's a "/pol/ raids Veeky Forums with thinly veiled race bait"

You faggots are too easy trigger.

>according to this, black people have a slightly lower IQ than others
try 30+ points

>facts are race bait
wew lad

Ironically enough, I took this infographic from /pol/. DOI is missing a 2 in the end.

This is the actual DOI: 10.1177/0190272510361602

I was going to call you retarded for not looking it up yourself like I did just now, but it's not worth the effort in a soon-to-be deleted thread.

>ireland below average
>russia lighter than england too
wew the UK's really mad they don't win Veeky Forums, they're willing to give it to the chinese

>crinkling tinfoil

pretty sure that one was just made by a butthurt Englishman
here's a better one

I didn't imply that at all, I just stay on topic.
it's a literature board, I'm here to discuss literature.

what are these fools doing, valuing forms of knowledge which are not the novel?

i know but im just uncomfortable with the communist things posted on this board, i dont know if you have seen that picture were reddit was planning to use Veeky Forums as a communist base to conquer Veeky Forums, thats what i don't want to happen

do you really think that reddit are going to want to hang with us when they realise all our books are about gay rape with the odd bit of pedophilia and wife murder thrown in? /pol/ isn't the problem, but dumb /pol/ who won't read our homoerotic catholic moral tales

Damn, gotta feel bad for Portugal and Ireland.

did we let australia pick their colour?
>feeling bad for ireland on /lit
just read peig or flann o'brien's poor mouth, they'll do it better than you
