Sheeit

Is this legit? Is it real proof humans came from Europe or just conjecture?

Very interesting, but of course wouldn't change the well supported view that we (homo sapiens) originated in africa. So maybe this new erliest hominin immigrated to africa and then evolved into the known later species. Or it went extinct and those, including us, are not direct decendants of it at all.

but DASSS RAYYYYCISSSSS

RAAAAAAYYYYYYCCCCCSSSS

journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0177127

I have never fucked a goat so I am definitely not greek.

AY YO HOL UP

SO YOU BE SAYIN

WE

WUZ

GREEEEEEEKSS N SHIEEET?

AW HELL YEA

>conjecture
you sound like a try hard fag

Thanks.

I am most definitely NOT some greek homo

technically nobody would be descended from greek homos...

Well we technically came from the ocean, depend where you drawn the line

As long as it's an ocean where there were no niggers.

>we are Greek
Not so fast Bucko, a hominin fossil from 7mya
found in Greece does not mean "we" are Greek.

turns out that "African humans" were humans that migrated to Africa from Europe and interbred with gorillas and chimpanzees while the rest of the human species went about setting up civilization.

kek

hahahaha bbooobiez ftw

No, it's just evidence that they were in Europe 200,000 years before they were in Africa. Except we don't know if that's true because there could have been hominids in Africa more than 200,000 years ago that weren't preserved.

Doesn't change the fact that all humans are descended from the same hominid, but perhaps there were earlier hominids that didn't come from Africa. Perhaps it came from Europe

Useless clickbait article

i am greek

/int/ went too far.

>telegraph.co.uk
Not even clicking that shit.

This doesn't mean what /pol/acks think it means. The reigning out of Africa hypothesis refers to anatomically modern humans, the oldest fossil of which was found in Africa. Unless future research identifies such fossils in Europe that are older than African ones. This research doesn't disprove that humans came from Africa, it only shows that pre-homo evolution occurred in places other than Africa, nothing more, nothing less.

But in general these studies can never be conclusive because there might exist fossils much older that could rewrite our whole theories but will never be discovered...

>calling people tryhard on Veeky Forums
>not a massive faggot

This.

The article itself is just clickbait by a non-specialist overhyping an interesting but not earth-shattering discovery, as typical of mainstream media science journalism.

>telegraph.co.uk
>Not even clicking that shit.

It's on Reuters now.

Not even clicking that shit

It's on Veeky Forums now too.

the "i Am Greek" /int/ joke has gone too far

I am Greek

>we was gods n shit
>nigga, we was sparta mayne
>we was Pythagorus. we made math n shit

But.. thst just looks like a monkey. How exactly is that in any way human?

Bay denpts

I guess that 1% Africa from my 23&me is actually Greek?

No someone fucked a nigger.

Scientists postulate that it is indeed human, since Greek women are almost indistinguishable from what has been discovered.

>evolutionists have become so desparate as to plant monkey bones in other countries
>everyone hails this monkey as Big Daddy, just like Hesperopithecus
Really gets the noodle a'floppin.

Don't flop your noodle too hard or yahway will smithetheth thee.

I am very happy to know that humanity comes from Greece, the cradle of civilization. I find it hard to believe that modern man comes from Africa, for those rare skulls that black people have.

After you, sir. And it's YHVH

Someone Fucked A Honkey

no wonder we max out our credit cards

From the Reuters article linked earlier:
>The findings in no way call into question that our species, Homo sapiens, first appeared in Africa about 200,000 years ago and later migrated to other parts of the world, the researchers said.

Tonight, on 'Profiles In Retardation': this post.

> Eastern Mediterranean

The jews are behing human kind.
We were kikes and shite

I am Greek

We all owe such a huge denbt to science.

I am a Greek

I am Greek

Best ocean is best ocean

Me too
I'm Dimitri

Brainlet here, does this pretty much disprove the african theory? What about all that mitochondrial eve stuff?

No, but it strengthens the European theory

I am greek.

>that deviantart anatomy

kek

The discovery of the creature, named Graecopithecus freybergi, and nicknameded ‘El Graeco' by scientists, proves our ancestors were already starting to evolve in Europe 200,000 years before the earliest African hominid.
THEY ARENT HUMAN

What nomad would want to go to a place that hot as balls and has little food? Makes sense to be by the ocean.

>sci
not even clicking that shit

Go back to your dying robot man /ic.

It's a meaningless discovery, but I'm glad all of the racist out of Africa dipshits were finally proved wrong.

we are not greek, just as we weren't african. These are modern terms and identities.

I mean, it's already well known by anyone who cares that, even if we were from Africa, the first humans were not black. That mutation came about after humans left the continent even under Back to Africa.

Also I remember I posted stuff against BtA a couple years ago here and everyone called it delusional pseudoscience and told me to go back to /pol/.

>Scientists speculate it based on recent discoveries.

FTFY, brainlet.

"Science" doesn't confirm shit.
Scientists propose a reasonable evidence-based finding and the rest of the scientific community tests and scrutinizes it.

This process goes on until the finding is either disproven or it remains unfalsified. And as technology develops and other findings are unearthed, newer methods in scrutinizing the original finding arise. This whole process is what "Science" is.

Remember when "science confirmed" that we all originated from Africa?
Veeky Forums is not the place for clickbait-tier threads.
