fuckton of western stuff. thanks to some user who posted this a while ago

holy shit user thanks a lot
I thought Is God Happy was impossible to find. Thank you so much, user. You should make a folder with rare stuff.
;_;
pastebin dot com slash uPUbbXUc
you're welcome. i'd make a folder but it seems pointless since even in a large list it's unlikely that a specific title is in any given collection. if you need something, just make a thread, there's usually gonna be an user with the same resources i have. which isn't even that much, after what went down
OP here, i'm leaving for now, may be back later.

One thing in particular that would be helpful would be to point out whether links are great older ones like or something new
I lost a ton of ebooks when my hdd died.
I'm mostly sad about a shared NYRB compilation that was circulated last year.
Anyone have a link? I mean I could search the archive, but maybe someone's more up to date with this.
Also, is there a Dalkey Archive compilation? if they have ebooks at all?
I only have Gaddis stuff but I'd love to get a hold of other shit I couldn't buy in time.
Posting my ~8GB collection:
mega://#F!51Q0waSI
Key: !4Ut-eePQr9YSjHJJTQs7Ew
... actually, part of it has already been shared ITT. The russian literature link and the Thompson link.
Why don't you just post the whole thing, user?
Are there any links for german language epubs?
This one is more complete.
I uploaded some meme authors (DFW, Pinecone, Corncob, DeLillo, Bloom, Palahnicuck, BEE, etc) like a month ago. Those appear not to be in the fork made by the user you're replying to.
Just uploaded Bulgakov to the russian folder too.
Also, a recommendation: Just like the other user, do import the folder to your own account, in case mine gets nuked.
Already did, thanks heaps man.
>Why don't you just post the whole thing, user?

>i'm just checking various sites and reuploading it
There's no need for that. At least for the Faulkner, russian lit, Thompson and western lit folders you linked, all of which are from my collection.
Just post my link, or import the whole thing into your own account and post a link to your newly imported folder.
Or do whatever you want, really. I just think it's a waste of effort to reupload stuff if you can just import it from mega account to mega account.
>Faulkner
I mean, Fitzgerald.
sorry, misunderstanding. i'm OP, not the guy who posted the mega link. i don't have a mega account or any links.
Ah. OK.
Are you hunting for piracy to post here, by the way? If so, may I /r/ any Edogawa Rampo (other than Japanese Tales of Mystery and Imagination and The Early Cases of Akechi Kogoro) or Hiroshi Mori?
Also, if you're using any private trackers for that, I'd really appreciate an invite.
rampo x 2. no mori though
ge [dot] tt [slash] 7LzF7Ei2
I'm checking the usual public sites plus a private tracker. don't have any invites, mightve been able to get you one back when what was around but oh well.
Fantastic.
Thanks, user. You just made my weekend. Might have even made my whole week, depending on how fast I read them.
If you ever get any invites and would like to trade for jpopsuki or avistaz, you can reach me at samizdat at hitler dot rocks
you're welcome. yeah, unlikely, but i'll take a screenshot of this just in case.
great adress btw.
Thanks.

Danke, ich suche nach 'Der Meister und Margarita', am besten in der Übersetzung von Thomas Reschke (die neueste soll nicht so gut sein)
.
Ich hab schon auf bookz und libgen geschaut
Joseph McElroy folder:
mega.nz
Includes:
>Ancient History: A Paraphrase
>Cannonball
>Lookout Cartridge
>Night Soul and Other Stories
>Women and Men
the libgen version doesn't state by whom it's translated, but it's got an epilogue, from the seventies, by schröder, and an old af looking cover. must be reschke.
gen [dot] lib [dot] rus [dot] ec [slash] foreignfiction [slash] index.php?s=Der+Meister+und+Margarita&f_lang=All&f_columns=0&f_ext=All&f_group=1
Thanks. I searched for it at golibgen io and it didn't show up there.
It is the Reschke translation, I've compared it to a library copy.
serious stretch, but i'm looking for "Akin to Poetry: Observations on Some Strange Tales of Robert Aickman" by Philip Challinor
huh, that's odd. same guys behind both sites.
nah dud. curious though, why is this thing so crazy expensive
>nah dud. curious though, why is this thing so crazy expensive
My guess is that someone on Amazon made an error by pricing it at $2000 and then some retards followed thinking it was really worth that. It's an 80 page chapbook that was like $15 but I made the mistake of waiting too long.
looking for 120 Days of Sodomy by Sade and Bacacay by Witold Gombrowicz on epub/mobi format
anybody want sam hydes shitty book

Anyone have the books/magazines from the humble bundle?

I want it, has it been ripped already?

Does anyone have "Poems are Hard to Read" by William Meredith?
Also looking for Alexander Theroux's "Black". It's on JSTOR.

Unabridged Romance of the Three Kingdoms (Moss Roberts translation)
I could swear I'd seen some 1GB scan mega floating around...
see
Mh... Nope. Only the abridged Moss Roberts version.
I do have both the unabridged Brewitt-Taylor and Sumei/Iverson (which I'd highly recommend) translations though:
mega://#F!51Q0waSI
key:
!4Ut-eePQr9YSjHJJTQs7Ew!s9RGTZQS
The full is just a longer version of the abridged, right?
They must share text.
I just wanted to see before I get it for real
Cybernetics of Cybernetics
Nice collection btw.
both on gen.lib.rus.ec

nah
just the one
ge [dot] tt [slash] 7Z09mEi2
nope
no meredith, just a bunch of other theroux novels
no. i wish though.
there's a moss roberts translation in three parts on ge.lib.rus.ec
not sure if unabridged; doesn't say wether it is or isnt
that it?
univie.ac.at/constructivism/archive/fulltexts/2634.html
What I can tell you is: The abridged version is 1-volume, 504 pages long. Unabridged is 4 volumes, 2339 pages long.
But I would assume they share text. Can't say for sure though.
But before you get it, do check the Sumei/Iverson translation. It's unabridged, 3 volume long, and it was deliberately written and edited to have the friendliest 21st century prose it can while retaining all the details.
Thanks.
I got the Moss Roberts abridged version from libgen, and I didn't notice any three parter...
bottom three
Well I have a few.
If you could find me a library worth of mathematics textbooks that'd be nice. I have downloaded some collections, if you can find others which are less accessible that'd be nice.
Also, Introduction to Algebra by Kostrikin. Wasn't able to find this.
the first of those is about 1.3k (e-reader) pages long. might be what you're looking for
Those 3 look like a slightly edited Brewitt-Taylor translation.
odd
sorry, dont really have a good resource for textbooks
Basic Notions of Algebra?
It's here:

Looks like getting seeds will be up to luck though.
Pic related.
Truth: A Guide for the Perplexed by Simon Blackburn
Existentialism by John Macquarrie
Ethics: Inventing Right and Wrong by J. L. Mackie
yeah, just saying. weird they'd publish that as "by US sinologist Moss Roberts". it really sounds a lot better.. the actual roberts one
yes, no, yes
ge [dot] tt [slash] 4dRpoEi2
ge [dot] tt [slash] 78ZtoEi2
thanks
Well, I mean, Brewitt-Taylor's version is almost 100 years old (translated in 1925 according to wikipedia), whereas Moss Roberts is from 1976.
Which is why I keep on recommending Sumei/Iverson, which is from 2014 and written/edited with current language in mind.
Thanks. Don't think I came across that collection before.
this, looked everywhere for this, had already given up, thanks
Roberts one sounds good.
I think I will get that (It's cheap too and the style is good)
Check Sumei/Iverson first.
The Roberts one sound more "fluid"
This feels a bit convoluted.(The sentence structure,I find really weird for one)
I can see where you are coming from, but I'm just not at the same wavelenght (Is this an expression in englis?Anyway.) with the Sumei translation.
(The Brewitt version is clearly the worst)
I think it's because it's the abridged version.
Sadly, the Look Inside link for the unabridged version in amazon either shows you the abridged version or a different translation, and google books only has the abridged version for preview...
If what you see in that screenshot is what you want, make sure to get the abridged version.
... that said, $25 new for a boxset of 4 illustrated volumes with 500+ pages each is indeed tempting...
Fuck. Now I wanna buy it.
That is why I would go for that.
Honestly, the full one can't be that much different.
Also because it's not 2 fuckhuge books, but 4 comfortably sized ones.
I have an exam that requires me to bullshit about Romanticism and Gothic horror tomorrow and I've done little to no preperation.
Does anyone have any essays or ramblings by some scholar that I can read and plagiarise?
Alternatively, just an actually fun book from that era to read would be nice. Ivanhoe is dense as fuck, Otranto is a boring airport paperback and Frankenstein was ruined by its own author.
