You're wasting your life.

Not at UoT brainlet.

>School
Stony Brook University

>Program
PhD Computer Science

>Life Plan
Get PhD, go to Google or post doc at a pinnacle school (SBU is nothing to scoff at for CS, but it is no Berkeley or U Wash).

Toronto has some heavy duty neural network researchers if I remember right.

sounds retarded

I'm ambitious.

Do you have a feasible path towards your goal, or are you the sort of idiot who conflates ambition with delusions of grandeur?

Not OP, but I am one of those idiots.
Recently realized this. Please help

Just have an existential crisis in your twenties like everyone else.

If you're dumb enough to post this thread, you're never going to achieve anything on your list. Enjoy working retail after you fail in your 2nd year

OP here, if you are going to the Global AI hackathon, I am also attending.
Definitely interested in buying beer for your knowledge.

Bachelor mathematics and statistics

Become data scientists, digital marketer or daytrader/investor. Investing is my passion though.

nah, JCDL

my first piece of advice is free: hackathons are SJW codemonkey incubators. If you're serious about grad school, focus your efforts on impressing a prof enough to hire you on as an undergrad RA

Starting here in the fall (MASc).

>University
Columbia University

>Program
Philosophy BA and MA

>Life Plan
Joining a startup in artificial intelligence in silicon valley starting end of month

All you freshmen need to chill out. Dont have your life planned out to such detail. Keep your mind and options open for unexpected and sudden opportunities.

>University
U Rochester

>Program
Computer Science BS + Cognitive Science BA. Might switch things around to include math, physics, and/or philosophy.

>life plan
Graduate with good grades and research expirience (published?), and get into a good PhD program for what my interests develop into. I'm not autistic enough to assume that what I like now will be what I like in 5-10 years so that's all I'm writing.

Lol get a grip, be more open. Also data science is a joke field don't go into it

>University

Just finished freshman year, trying to line up a research gig for the fall
if it goes well probably masters in bioengineering and then ???

what is cogsci like at your school? at mine it's where all the ppl who didn't make the CS gpa cutoff go, don't really get the point to double major i guess

Collect PDFs of books I will never read.

I start in the fall so I have no clue yet. I think people see it as an option for a second major and no one actually uses it as a home base.

Any idea why Trudeau hates Toronto so much, and wants someone to nuke it?

>University
University of Nebraska

>Program
Undergrad Electrical Engineering (EM Fields and Optics specialization)

>Life Plan
Go to grad school (MIT or UMich) and get PhD or just MS in EE focused on electromagnetics or photonics. After grad school hopefully get comfy research job at national lab or in industry

Double major is a meme

>UoT
>taking CS

If you're at UoT you should probably take psych classes to sort yourself out. Also clean your room.
