You have a child

You have a child.
He is very impressionable.
The books you give him to read will shape his entire world view and personality.
If you just let the school dictate what he needs to read them hell turn out a cuck.

Your list now. Do it for a boy and a girl. But if you can only do one then do it for a boy.

Gravity's Rainbow, Milkbottle H, and Second Skin my man

only let him read wallace and the pynch-man.

I would just follow Professor Bloom's advice on what kids should read, make sure my kid grows up to be a real patrician.

>don't want my child to be brainwashed by the state
>better brainwash him myself

The brainwashing is inevitable desu.

Start him off with the Greeks and then the Romans of course.

The Iliad and Odyssey
The Divine Comedy
1001 Nights
The Larousse Gastronomique
The Republic
Beyond Good and Evil
The Meditations
The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire
The Tao Te Ching
The Analects
Capital
The Lord of the Rings
Atlas Shrugged
The Summa Theologica
The letters of Napoleon
Things Hidden Since the Foundation of the World
The Consumer Society
Difference and Repetition
The Fragments
Ecrits
Ficciones
Discipline and Punish
Being & Time
The Glass Bead Game

...so basically I'm abandoning him. But at least he's got a good reading list to read in the fallout bunker.

>not homeschooling

Anything without cuckoldry, but still written by old white men that teach us what manliness is.

Probably a bunch of philosophy books.

For boys:
Harry Potter
The Hotwife Coach: A Cuckold Husband and His Hotwife
Karl Marx Bibliography

For girls:
Milk and Honey
The Vagina Monologues
Karl Marx bibliography
Too Tight for the Big Black Cock

I only wamt the best for my children. They need to understand the value of superior black seed.

You are such a fucking retard holy shit. These are the people that browse lit.

Got back to your containment thread
>>>Fantasy

Probably lots of Jack London. Riproaring adventure tales that teach of the harshness this world can offer.

unironically Mein Kampf

Moby Dick

So he can be a failed painted with one ball and commit suicide?

Hey, Rabbi, whatcha doin?

>having children
faaaags

Nothing but anarchist political theory and PKD.

>2016
>Not starting your kids off right with the greeks

I want him to be a cuck just like his step dad aka me.

Here is some good material for that.

...

The schools in my area have good reading lists so I wouldn't be worried. I wold probably give them Norse, Celtic, and Greek mythology books because those were interesting to me when I was young. My favorite heroes were Cuchulain and Odysseus.

Other than that kids can read whatever they want. I blew through Harry Potter and other kids series but I also read books that were more canonical like Johnny Tremaine and Treasure Island. People like to wank about the Greeks and other canonical books but if you don't let kids explore they lose their curiosity and end up stupid and boring.

The Tragedy of Man (Imre Madách)
Tao Te Ching (Lao Tzu)
A journey round my skull (Frigyes Karinthy)
This is how YOU write (Frigyes Karinthy)
The annalects (Confucius)
The Canterbury tales (Chaucer)
A canticle for Leibowitz (Walter M. Miller Jr.)
Please Sir! (Frigyes Karinthy)
The Stranger (Albert Camus)
The Odyssey (Homer)

And history books.("Comicbook history of the universe" is pretty rad)

I think this would help the kid to know a few cultures and world views.
Has a healthy ammount of christian teachings too.

I'll also homeschool my kid, unless I can afford an elite private school, to ensure he ends up being maximally patrician. When he turns 16 I'll send him to work on a farm in France or Italy for a year so he can be fluently bilingual. I'll also teach him to fight, shoot a gun, chop wood, etc.

>Your list now. Do it for a boy and a girl. But if you can only do one then do it for a boy.

How binary! The list should be the same for both genders, then tailored to your child's individual personality and interests.

lol

wish you were my daddy

>Atlas Shrugged

Steppenwolf, Journey to the East, and Demian.

I recently realized that a certain chapter in Please Sir is a hard red pill.
>"I have an idea that one day I shall find out about this business. I'm frightened of that day. That day, I shall lose myself in the grey crowd: on that day I shall realise that I am just the same as the people I meet in the streets. That day, I shall forget The Form, and the Leclanché cell, my collection of plants. On that day I shall have forgotten my own self. "

If you don't brainwash your child, you are abandoning it like a stray dog.

Don't you retards know children always do the opposite of whatever their parents want?

Why?

I hate this "redpill" meme.

reading rn, second this

>the lists should be the same
>but different

stay in the matrix then you fucking faggit

The best way to teach your children is with yourself as an example. Allow them their agency, and if you are worth emulating, they will emulate you.

You can't just give children highly complex literature. The best way for them to learn is for them to be interested in the subject, so interesting introductory books are a necessity.
Short stories and tales by Gogol, Pushkin, and maybe Dostoevsky.
All Quiet on the Western Front
General History books on Greece, Rome, Medieval Europe, Russia, China, Japan, and the Byzantine Empire
Books about the spread of peoples, such as The Horse, the Wheel and Language
Beowulf
The Bible
If they read this from 8 years old to 14, they would be able to branch off into whatever subjects interests them.

bible

trips never do lie

>having children
lmao

Plato's The Republic
Homer's The Iliad
Homer's The Odyssey
Virgil's The Aeneid
Hesiod's Theogeny
Ovid's Metamorphoses
Euripides' Bacchae
Assorted poetry by Sappho, assorted poetry by Pindar
The Argonautica

Works for either gender, the gist is a household centered entirely around Neo-Hellenism. I think it'd be interesting desu.

This is some retarded elitist shit

>>the lists should be the same
>>but different

The lists should be different, yes, but not because of the gender of the child.

>>having children
I know gross, right?!

London
Twain
Moomins
Some russian authors you don't give a shit about
Various science books for children

Be sure to compose your own inserts!

I'd be careful with exposing a girl to the Greeks/mythology that much. I dated one in college whose parents were super into reading her Greek mythology, and she ended up having really hardcore rape fantasies and liking it in the ass more than an Athenian hoplite.
All well and good for me of course, but do you want your daughter to turn out like that?
If yes, post here when she turns 18, I miss that shit.

Damn. Tell more?

>child
No.

Math books only. Want them taking real analysis by senior year of high school

Girl Up

Hello newfriend.

You had you @ 'you have a childeh'

16 is too late to be truly bilingual. He would always speak with an accent.
Ten is the limit for being able to think natively in a language.
Living in a bilingual community is the best bet but finding a tutor is a good start.

This desu. Just so that the brainwashing at school would be mitigated.

This is not how learning languages work. Please don't post if you don't know what you're talking about

Then elaborate.
It's well known that proper pernounciation is harder to develop the older you are.
Even wikipedia could tell you that there is indeed a critical period for languages. The language(s) you think in are called first or native languages.
