Colloidal silver.
Is this just a meme. Or has there been any proven science behind it?

Not op and question unrelated but, how do i safely get rid of mercury and iodine crystals
it's great if you want to turn blue
you become an hero
Its a meme. It is widely accepted that it will do much more harm than good, the only people who disagree are homeopathy users.
why would you want to "get rid" of iodine crystals? iodine is not particularly toxic or dangerous
Its good for purifying water to some extent , but thats about it. unless you want to stick de bottle up yer bum

> The World Health Organization includes silver in a colloidal state produced by electrolysis of silver electrodes in water, and colloidal silver in water filters as two of a number of water disinfection methods specified to provide safe drinking water in developing countries.[47]
> Toxicity in certain systems can also be dependent on the size of the nanoparticle. AuNSs size 1.4 nm were found to be toxic in human skin cancer cells (SK-Mel-28), human cervical cancer cells (HeLa), mouse fibroblast cells (L929), and mouse macrophages (J774A.1), while 0.8, 1.2, and 1.8 nm sized AuNSs were less toxic by a six-fold amount and 15 nm AuNSs were nontoxic.[101]

It's not a meme.
Science has demonstrated that if you drink that shit, then you definitely turn perma-smurf blue, just like you wanted!
You'll probably have to go to a "hollistic doctor" to detox mercury. Its not something that really is available from mainstream doctors.
Indeed. Oprah Winfrey really innovated in the scientific method on this one!
That's because most things that will remove heavy metals from the body are toxic as all fuck, and likely to do more harm than good.
Lrn2meme fgt pls
Chelating therapy is the medical method of removing it. Mercury poisoning is treated with DMSA taken orally; it basically just binds to the mercury and is excreted in urine.
Proper chelation therapy is closely monitored because it can cause kidney damage, among other things. Inappropriate use, such as alternative medicine, can be pretty harmful.
Ya you are only gonna get chelation therapy for mercury if you legit had mercury spill on you in a factory.
If you just suspect you have unhealthy levels in your blood, theres not much you can do before venturing into quackery.
It is antibacterial, but it's probably not useful for treating diseases in humans.
Did a report on the effects of colloidal silver a while back for a uni class.
It's toxic. Some studies have been performed on rats and mice, which showed possible neuro-degenerative effects as well as overall tissue degeneration.
It DOES do work as a anti-microbial agent, but that's probably because it's toxic to organisms in general.
I can only give you the sources as citations, but feel free to look them up if you want proof.

Pretty sure it's an attempt to rip off ORMUS (Or ORMES) without any of the actual science that ORMES actually has behind it.
You don't actually want to consume gold or silver
Yep, pretty much all people who consumed silver or gold died from it, there are many accounts in history about it, for instance pic related.
