user, I've not been in school since the 1990s. I dropped out when I realized there was no need for schooling after you learned to read, write, and do arithmetic. You can self teach easily and start your own business. That's how I got "retired" and have 0 debt less than 10 years after dropping out of HS.

I approve of this. More people should learn trades instead of going to college. Trades are undervalued in today's society, with college being viewed as a symbol of social status. Instead of learning useful skills, middle class kids who are not cut for university go to college to acquire status while learning nothing of value. It's a disgrace to both trade skills and higher education.
