What literary motto do you use as your guide while writing or debating?

>Never answer a question in 15 seconds when you can stretch your response out to 7 minutes

If you're jacking to it a year later, you've won.

>tfw you're now older than the average porn star
*ALS ICH EIN*

I just use a standard meme:word ratio

This. I'll be back later to post my favorite Veeky Forums meme, wait here for a few hours.

Be instructive, be succinct.

Alternatively:

Take the high-ground and go for the kill.

>keep it simple, Bill

>It's over Anakin!

say the things you think are obvious. if it turns out they're not really obvious, then it's a good thing you said them. if they are obvious, then everyone has to agree with you

>I'm right and you're going to hell
>The fact that you disagree with me PROVES I'm right and you're going to hell
>Any reasons or arguments you present are from hell, which is where you're going
Theologian of the century

>We need feminism and you're oppressing me
>The fact that you disagree with me PROVES we need feminism and you're oppressing me
>Any reasons or arguments you present are tools of the oppressor, which you are
Feminist of the century

>Everything is the result of power relations, even this conversation
>The fact that you disagree with me PROVES that you are shaped by the powers that be
>Any reasons or arguments that you present PERIOD prove me right
Historian(???) of the century

I follow the motto of being more intelligent than most people and therefore usually correct.

>The cultural marxists are undermining white identity
>The fact that you're not advocating for a white ethnostate PROVES that the cultural marxists are undermining white identity
>Any reasons or arguments you present are embodiments of cultural marxism, which is undermining white identity
Edgy memer of the century

well, this one is actually difficult to disagree with

> I am the champion of logic
> look how logical I am guys
> those other guys can't do logic, only I am the logic master
>ad homonoym is a logical fallacy
> the fact that you disagree with me proves that you are shit at logic and I am the logic champion
> I have 7 logic trophies
> what was the question?

Funny that doesn't look like Karl Popper

> I like to poop in my diaper
> I have the radical freedom to poop in my diaper
> don't try to stop me from pooping in my diaper
> no I wasn't looking at you
> we are unable ever to choose the worse
> choosing not to poop in your diaper is choosing the worse

I've been waiting for 9 hours

kek I've got to read this guy

True, Foucault does make a compelling case for the total pervasiveness of power relations, and never directly invokes this tactic, but he still busts out implicit versions of this game on occasion, so even if his premise is correct, he's being a bit intellectually dishonest every now and then.

I personally like feminism too, but the whole "you disagreeing with me is oppression" meme is honestly the worth thing to happen to the movement. Sophistry is great for preaching to the choir but shitty for broadening the tent.

I think this meme is less about debunking people entirely and more about mocking the rhetorical tools they sometimes resort to.

>the worth thing to happen
Meant "the worst thing to happen".
