I dont understand him totally, but allow me to take a whack at it. Essentially he believes the dehumanization and technological advancments of capitalism are natural because humans are essentialy a catalyst to give birth to machines. Basically its like Terminator, but we should allow the machines to take over

this sounds mostly right. another aspect of it is that we naturally think of humans as the agents of history and things like technology as our tools, but Land sort of reverses this. the forces of capitalism and technological progression are the real agents of history and they use humanity as tools in their development. eventually they won't need the tools (us) anymore.
