Yeah its a good book but what reasons do you have to call it the best book ever?

Griffiths Electrodynamics 4th Edition

ITT: physishit brainlets

Representing the first book I ever read back when I was 3 or 4.

SICP is a better book.

I was hoping this was Arnold Clasical Mechanics. Sad!

Griffiths Quantum Mechanics is the most helpful textbook I've ever read.

>Griffiths Quantum Mechanics is the most helpful textbook I've ever read.
This so much.
Either you do QM on Griffiths or in some book addressed to mathematicians.
In betweens are a cancerous incomprehensible mess.
Kek I have this.

>Walter Greiner (1935–2016) was a German theoretical physicist. He is known for his series of books in theoretical physics, particularly in Germany but also around the world.

Mein (Schwartze)Neger

Student gets introduced to a book from the Grad Texts in Mathematics series. Falls in love with the simplistic design of the cover and quality of text. Feels very good and buys tons more books in the series so they look good in a bookcase. Autism! Many such cases! Sad!

Brap.

The Art of Computer Programming

Griffiths Quantum is trash compared to Griffiths Electrodynamics

I wouldnt waste my time reading a book about a subject which is fully contained within four simple to use equations.

>someone who has never studied EM at either the undergraduate or graduate level

well memed friend :^)

friend I've done both a basic and advanced course on the subject and its little more than maxwells equations, a bunch of mathematical methods and some basic logic.

Are you guys even trying?

My nigga
(Not to mention Ulysses, The Divine Comedy, my diary)

This book is as autistic as (you)

meme books. It's the futile attempt of one man trying to document a field changing faster than he can write.

I'd rather get a bunch of smaller books on a specific subject that get updated with a new edition once every decade or so.

Congrats on not learning anything
