Hardest Undergraduate Course in World is the Harvard Math55.

A 2-semester long course in
Honors Abstract Algebra (Math 55a)
&
Honors Real and Complex Analysis (Math 55b)

For the class of 2009 the Prof. Scott Duke Kominers said:
>We had 51 students the 1st day, 31 students the 2nd day, 24 for the next 4 days, 23 for 2 more weeks, and then 21 for the rest of the 1st semester.

The Hardest Graduate Course may be either:
(1) Advanced String Theory.
(2) Algebraic Geometry, a portion the math behind String Theory
The Physicist Edward Witten Mastered both String Theory & Algebraic Geometry with His massive brain.

Try to answer the following:
How can mirrors be real if our eyes aren't real?

>string theory

More like meme theory, amiright lads?

why would one question whether his eyes are real, and how is that related to mirrors?

Real Analysis

requesting funds

this is the only correct answer

this right here.

>Prepare to Die

the standard model because we have got it wrong so many times

which is basically the whole deal with dark souls, you have to keep trying despite getting raped every time you try

the game mechanics of dark souls arent even complicated, you just have to die till you memorize boss cues and moves, theres nothing else you can do

what makes it hard? only grades are exams ?

only 3 exams and a final?

the subject matter ya dingus

PDEs

I'd argue that MAT 215 with Charles Fefferman at Princeton is at least as hard.

Exactly.

Writing a thesis that contains something original

I'm sorry, but algebraic geometry is orders more difficult than string theory. String theory uses very simple AG.

The material in those courses isn't even that advanced it's just very convoluted textbooks and notes.

>(1) Advanced String Theory.
I didn't know that masturbation was a uni course.

I wouldn't expect you to understand

Any course that focuses on circular motion, because all you do in Dark Souls is ROLL ROLL ROLL

>difficulty is incredibly exaggerated by plebs

Calculus/general ed-level organic chemistry

Well memed sir. (You're wrong of course.)

Triple integrals. Casuals think it's the hardest shit ever, true fans of the genre know better

What is the Call of Duty of science and math?

This guy

knot theory (no prerequisites)
digraphs (so easy even CS majors understand it)
umbral calculus (it's just linear algebra, that's all)

Solid state physics

Hardest science known to man.

In Harvard if you pass Math55 with a high GPA you are automatically admitted into Harvard Math Grad School.
They can then go straight to Grad School & take Graduate Math Classes. Dispensed to do any other Undergrad Math class. Because Math 55 already cover nearly the entire Undergrad Math Curriculum.

Artificial Intelligence
It started out amazing but now all the initial creativity is gone and we're just getting more of the same recycled shit every year

In this thread we list things Dark Souls 2 did that were far better than Dark Souls 3. I'll start:

>No bonfire and no death challenge where you can beat the game without resting at a bonfire or dying to gain a reward and bragging rights

>Non-linear first half of the game allows you to rush straight to the areas of the game that contain the items for your build

>Chugging Estus immobilizes you, and the heal isn't instantaneous meaning trying to chug while someone is sticking close to you will result in death

>Stamina regeneration is tied to weight, so a character at 10% burden will recover their bar faster than a character at 70% burden, giving an advantage and a reason to make a low burden character

>Poise exists and armor provides relevant, but not overpowering damage reduction, giving an advantage and a reason to make a high burden character

>Phantoms and Dark Spirits cannot chug estus, spirits can only heal via spell useage which is slow. This makes fighting outnumbered even without mob assistance possible since any damage you do sticks

>Can only perform four rolls before running out of stamina

>Can only perform 5 attacks of a rapier or straight sword before running out of stamina

>Parrying has longer recovery frames and consumes more stamina, making parry fishing riskier and makes parrying require higher skill

>Power stance allowing for unique combinations of dual wielding and unlocking an alternative moveset for weapons

>Being able to use the full moveset of a weapon in your off-hand including running, rolling, backstepping, etc. attacks rather than just being able to do a basic R1 swing and blocking with the weapon as it is in Ds3 (lmao who would ever want to weapon block)

>Bell Tower covenant providing two unique optional areas to PvP for Titanite Chunks, Slabs, and Twinkling, making farming for upgrades fun

>Bonfire ascetics to replay bosses you like and or gain items from NG+ and beyond without grinding through the whole game again

>CoD
>easy
I bet you don't get scorestreaks during a match so often that you cycle them one after another and get 70 kills no deaths.
But seriously, I legit think CoD "can" be harder than Dark Souls, if you can control every spawn and trap the enemy before they get 10 kills match, while spamming 20 scorestreaks in their direction so that they get spawnkilled so often that they uninstall the game and play something easier like Fallout or Halo.
Call of Duty has some strategy but it mostly involves scorestreaks, accuracy, timing, control, reconnaissance, stealth, manipulation, and judgement. I do believe Battlefield is more difficult than CoD in the long end but I mostly play commander to give my team crutches to force them to go on the point. Halo I have to make sure I get the power items and dominate just like DOOM 4. Titanfall is a race to get your titan and hold back the enemy team from getting theirs. If they have their titans, thunderbolt their asses. Either way, you have to go fast, speed is life. Overwatch I just main McCree and headshot people to death and use my ultimate to kill the entire team, rinse and repeat. Counter-strike I can't play because it's shite on console. CoD also has stuff like 'pick 10' where you can choose guns, attachments, perks, ordnance, scorestreaks, and recently specialists/rigs that make you even more OP. Just watch videos of people getting nuclears and shit in modern warfare or black ops. It's more than just knowing how to aim.

You just reminded me of when I used to play cod4 a lot. I knew that game inside out. I knew exactly how to trap the enemy in their spawn and rake up massive killstreaks. I could literally beat a whole team by myself. Team mates would actually end up hurting you because they would push too far into the enemy's spawn point and make the game change where they spawned, so then you had to reposition.

Fukin lol

Who fucking cares about your pretentious philosophy faggotry

I want to take all of these classes. Am I insane or just an asshole?

Why not both?

Calculus and diff eq, without proof, over 2500 pages of text books, non interesting problems, but thousand boring and repetitive exercise, but brainlet engineer just look this hard math.

You are a fucking normie who wants social gratification for your perceived intelligence. Kill yourself.

Call of Duty is fucking team based multiplayer shooter and Dark Souls is a (mostly) single player action RPG. The skills you need to succeed in each game are incredibly different. It's like comparing math and bodybuilding.

That being said, succeeding in professional cawadoody is 100% harder than any measurable metric of skill in Dark Souls, just due to the much much larger pool of players and amount of money/external resources being thrown at players.

What is it, like Artin and Rudin? It's hard if you've never seen the material before, but not on the grand scale of things. It's probably just taught with bad pedagogy and with no respect for the mathematical maturity of the students.

I'd guess that would be "artificial" difficulty, so yeah, I can see the comparison.

hahAHAH look how good i am I passed math 55
but couldnt you have just studied the topics on your own time in a much better environment for learning?
