How do I do it? How do I start writing seriously? And how do I not make it absolute dogshit?

It takes time bro. The idea for your story or book should burn in your belly and it'll make you WANT to put aside other things to create something of your own. This will mean less social outings and Vidya but if you truly want to get started, then block off some time without distractions, turn off the phone or internet and sit down for a set period of time and put some words on paper. It's tough at first and your first draft is going to be shit but that's ok it's part of the process and editing will make it less shitty. Once you find your groove you'll be on your way to earning the title of writer. Lots of people want to be writers but don't want to take the time or put out the effort to get the final product. Like anything in life, If you really want something you have to step outside of your comfort zone and work for it. What's it going to be? Are you going to be like the other shitposters who TALK about writing or will you take the plunge and become a writer? I have every confidence you can do anything you put your mind to. So take a moment and decide when you're going to start writing. Or you can have an endless online back and forth with the meme lords contained in the literary section of a Burmese pet trading site. Your choice.

I'm afraid I might have a million dollar idea that I simply screw up because I'm inexperienced, and so I keep putting it off while promising myself I'll get to it eventually. But you're right man, I gotta start somewhere. Thanks
