Where do I go after Kafka? I've read all of his works and I'm wondering where I could go from here.

My diary desu
he was sort of a genius, not really anywhere to go from him besides secondary literature about him

I'd say the real kin of Kafka are Heinrich von Kleist, Robert Walser, and Thomas Bernhard.
If you haven't already, you should read Borges. His short stories are very influenced by Kafka's and have a similar irreality to them.
He's the only short story writer I rate more highly than Kafka.
Have you read his diaries/letters?
Read The Woman in the Dunes
His letters and diaries.
Kobo abe
Oh no.
You go and reread your Bible.
This.
