Looks good. I'd really like to try that chipotle dip. Generally I like mussels in a garlic white wine steam, but the beer should work good to. Don't let that steam liquid go to waste, I like to spoon it up with an empty mussel shell like soup.

Thanks! And that's exactly what I did! I've made mussels with a white whine sauce once before. I saw this variation online and thought I'd give it a try. I actually really liked the hoegaarden with the mussles. It gave it a nice subtle citrus undertone. The chipotle sauce turned out well too. Definitely would make this again.
