What is your excuse for not maintaining your 130+ IQ IxTJ brain?

I reach 10th jhana when I need to talk with greys.
Serious.

I nap for 15-20 minutes when I get home from work, does that count?

No.

Why not?

How is falling asleep meditation you dumbfuck?
You're to apply some kind of deliberate effort when you do it.

So you are saying that you apply effort when you meditate?
Are you even aware of how wrong that approach is?

Meditation = you have consciouness of your action

Sleeping = no consciousness of your action

Not letting your mind shift from your breathing to what you just ate to your favorite hurtcore video to the number of zeros in your debts takes effort.

>So you are saying that you apply effort when you meditate?
What makes you think otherwise.
Say you want to meditate while you fall asleep.
You do yoga nidra and try to maintain awareness.
This is difficult since a lot of people me included try to lucid dream using WILD and fail.
You most likely will fall asleep trying to do this.
>Are you even aware of how wrong that approach is?
No because it isn't.

Another example is anapanasati.
You can reach jhanas but you need a hell lot of focus and dedication to do it.
If you call your daydreaming sessions "meditation", then suit yourself.

Holy shit all this butthurt and denial, and then you even have the audacity to say that you are meditating right.
Face it if you did it right you wouldnt be so mad right now.

This guy is cool though .

You don't know anything about meditation.

If you take MBTI at all seriously then your IQ is sub 100. It's been debunked a thousand times, it's literally a horoscope.

Meditation

Off and on for the past five years or so.
It helped me with getting my emotions to stop tormenting me.

Mindfulness Meditation has very blatant benefits. Other forms, not so much.

>Retard alert.

Makes me feel more aware of my thoughts, and keeps me present. I typically do 15 minutes a day.

>t. non-IxTJ

wtf is meditation...
I mean, if it means what I think it means, I'm prolly doing it all day long

Depressionfag, been meditating on psych's advice for a couple of months.
>benefits?
Not much yet but I'm still an incompetent noober at it. Done properly it's supposed to be months/years of daily practise that slowly rewires your brain.
It's relaxing.

it greatly helped me with depression and extreme social anxiety disorder, but i stopped after becoming normie
it is so hard to start again after knowing how much time it needed to take effect

Redditards took the bate

From my own experience meditation is just a good, relaxing way to waste time. It can be useful after a regular routine to concentrate on a thought process but that's only if you're a
big thinker.
It certainly is a trendy ebin mene though.
