The structure that support such endeavors is the result of a higher than average 85 IQ society. Bragging about being an exceptional african that moved to a decent society while claiming african pride just shows a lack of wider scale understanding of societies.

Any probabilistic study on Brazil/Africa/etc will show you they have a large number of higher than 100 IQ people nominally. This is not a surprise.

The reality is it's the whole society that matters. The smart Brazilians are surrounded by violent favellas and a democratic system that gives them choice in leadership.
