Attending classes

>attending classes

>being enrolled

>having the slightest interest in science
please tell me you guys don't actually do this

excuse me sir, I do believe you are outta place, here, lemme help you

>Having a high school diploma

I wish i didn't have crippling social anxiety and could attend lectures.

actually this.
i just dropped a class last week partly because i missed the first assignment and i'm too awkward to show up again

>tfw professor lowers your grade if you're absent
>the practice of doing so is encouraged by the uni
If you're such a shitty teacher that I'm confident that I can learn the same things as well by myself then maybe you should rethink your teaching style instead of forcing people to deal with your shit.

>If you're such a shitty student that you're confident you can learn
>the same things by yourself then maybe you should rethink your career
FTFY

my mother is a professor at a nearby college
her department forced her to put in a graded mandatory attendance policy

>that feel when you're just learning by yourself with noone to hate except yourself

>if you don't need to be spoonfed you're a shitty student
I know right, fucking Ramanujan was a god damn moron, he should've stuck to pooing in loos.
And learn how to greentext, idiot.

>tfw have to do a semester of bullshit 100 level geneds with attendance policies despite having already completed the rest of my major requirements

I'm pretty lucky in that regard. All assignments as well as a lot the course material are published on the internet. We can also hand in assignments online or by mail. There's even a forum where we can ask questions, anonymously if we want. Some professors even record their lectures, but not all of them. It's pretty comfy. I only really go to campus for exams.

>paying tuition and devoting 3-4 years of your life to higher education just to ditch classes
people like you don't deserve to attend university. do you have any idea how many people would love to have the opportunity you're not taking advantage of?

You seriously have to be a full on spurg to not go to class. All you do is sit there and take notes for 2 hours on information that'd take 3 hours to read; it's not that hard.

or you could just listen and ask questions and get your money's worth of education. (not to mention making friends with people with similar academic interest)
also, I think you're not taking notes properly.

Good thing mathematics is not a science then

I have the same issue, too bad I'm on my last year, there is no fixing it for me.

In my experience it's the other way around. You sit there for 2 hours listening to someone explain stuff that would take 45 minutes to read.

>tfw people thought you dropped out when you keep returning each year
