I've talked to a friend who buys into this bullshit, and he says that the governments are "hiding something valuable" past the gigantic antarctic ice wall.

The biggest hole in this is that there is no way that the world governments could collaborate in such a closed off way such that 0 information gets out about it, it's infeasible.
