I'm not that user, but I work in a bar in the historic centre of Milan and I costantly deal with multi-millionaire/billionaire people in their 20s and Jesus Christ, there is no limit to their shallowness.

They actually think only about pussy, vacations, luxury items such as sport cars and expensive suits, and what fancy clubs will they hit this week.
I honestly don't know what's going on in their head, or if they ever stop for a second contemplating their empty life.

As I read in other thread: The real tragedy is that there's people out there living happy and carefree lives.

Old money: more likely than average to be cultured due to generations of educated parents and leisure time.

New money, professional edition (bankers, doctors, lawyers, consultants): well-educated but may not have had exposure to the arts until later in life. Tends to be mentally sharp and inquisitive, at least compared to the general population.

New Money, Third-world and Middle-America Edition: Got rich by doing something with a pretty narrow and practical focus. Likely sees the arts as either useless and for fags or just another way to display wealth. Oil people and chinese international students.

It just annoys me when I see people emulating something they clearly aren't, I guess.

I also get annoyed when there's a mash of marketed cultures too. Noticed it the other day in the parking lot of a grocery store and a truck pulled up blaring modern country pop music (I live in the American south in a pretty rural area) and out stepped a couple with the male sporting one of those flat brimmed "urban" hats, faded jeans, cowboy boots, and a graphic t-shirt. His partner had bleached blonde hair, yoga pants, bright running shoes (I am also noticing these more and whilst I have nothing against exercise as I hike and go walking trails with my dog, it is just interesting that they're so obnoxiously coloured), and a giant purse.

I had no idea what I was looking at. I had previously watched a youtube video about mudding (a redneck activity) and there were multiple blacks, rap music, that thing where girls shake their asses, and just general "thuggishness?" I don't know what else to describe it as, honestly. I am around rednecks and I am technically one myself, and that is not at all the culture here.

Maybe I am just easily annoyed.

I don't live in clapistan and genuinely manage to surround myself with interesting people, without regard for race. The 'Jewish wit' in my experience is very superficial and isn't good for anything other than cheeky pseud smalltalk.

As I said it's a good croos-section of trust fund kids. I'm not talking about rich Italian kids, I'm talking about filthy rich kids that come from all around the world, wether we're talking about China, Saudi Arabia or Liechtenstein. I see them all, all the time.
