what the fuck are you talking about? several math grads post here. a plain MSc in math means you failed. or you're not even in math?
Not math, kiddo.
"science"? What science?
see not even math wow
Applied physics
what's that
it's not physics right?
It's physics alright, with a focus on applications rather than fundamental research.
what is an appliancation?
I got one. how come you don't have a Ph.D?
Because I didn't want to be poor for 4 years.
Lidar, sonar, medical devices, consumer electronics, etc.
oh we're very similar, I have electronics! computer and a phone haha
Will a double pendulum pass close to all points if you let it run forever? And will it keep passing close to them as time goes on? Are there non-obvious configurations the system will never pass through after a while?
How do you know this?
oh haha my buddy says that dense orbits exist and there's topological transitivity taking place. but I don't have a pendulum appliancation :(
I guess I need to study Dynamical Systems to understand why? I chose to take another class instead.
You would need to in order to get introduced to the formalism of what it means for a system to be chaotic, anyway. If you're familiar with basic topology the gist of it isn't very difficult, but if you want to develop the full formalism you need some solid mathematical theory. I'm not really sure what the physics approach is to these kind of topics, but smale's great ODE book (math.upatras.gr

AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAAGAGSGAGAGAGAGAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
just because there's influxes of highschoolers with algebra homework doesn't mean graduates don't post here
it means this place is way too fucking stupid for graduates
Wtf is MSc of science?
No one told me this shit before
Call me back when you have a PhD
