Well Veeky Forums, is it true?

Only man vs. author really fits into postmodern alone. I mean, Man vs Self isn't a modern-only convention, that's always been present in literature.

eh, its not completely true but I also completely see where the artist is coming from

I think the problem with defining postmodernism is that strict definitions go against the major tenants of postmodernism.

Only if you speak in generalities.

only a sith deals in absolutes

More like in banalities

That would only be difficult if you subscribe to postmodernist perspective then.

I just realized something

postmodernism is so fucking dumb

Nah just frustrating and an artistic dead end desu

man vs technology is such a bad meme

all art is a dead end desu

why does it always have to be man vs something?

why not nature vs god? that'd be pretty cool right?
or how about god vs reality or hell reality vs reality?

are authors too close-minded?

that's pure nonsense desu

desu

>why does it always have to be man vs something?
>why not nature vs nature?
damn... that would be fucking cool indeed bruh

>being this new

>This internet joke isn't accurate enough while talking about several centuries of literature.

i wish

...

What does "man vs reality" even means?

I think it's basically books where people question the nature of reality or reality breaks down. An obvious example is the matrix. A subset of this man vs reality is media with time travel or parallel universes.

kek what books should i read for the fourth column feel?

I haven't finished writing it yet.

baudrillard, harry potter

What was the fucking punchline.

how is man vs. technology not the same as man vs. man

unless it's like terminator i'd call man vs tech a specific case of man vs society

That the cat has John's pipe

XD

how about batman vs superman, that would be rlly cool

no it's man v. self

...
