first off, just use C++ and file streams it will make it much easier than fucking around with opening a FILE, and screwing with fscanf and shit
Yeah good thing I forgot to mention we are not to use fscanf fopen fclose etc....
>Opening bracket on the same line
Please place head here
scanf("%d", &c);
printf("%d", c);
use POSIX C regular expressions for that.
Also, fuck off to /g/.
/g/ is the new /v/. Nobody knows anything outside the latest GPUs out there.
Congratulations on making a cat op, we all have to start somewhere.
step 1 would be to learn how to indent your code and using a color scheme that doesn't promote eye cancer
Well done OP for doing a cat.
What you're trying to do could easily be done with regexes, but I guess you're trying to give yourself a learning exercise - which is fine. If you read through the examples in K&R it goes into precise details of string comparison exercises like this.
>using syntax highlighting
You have to compile it first you mong
And make the file a .c
This is not a code at all. Ego in dissapointeratio.
Cogere programmere.
What's your real goal ? Is it to learn C or to print all lines that start with some letter ?
In the latter case, especially if you hate programming, some other languages may be better suited for you.
Go back to bed Rob
Fuck off autist.
IZP?
his second assignment should be to implement netcat
>how to turn 10 lines of code into 30: the coding style
fuck off
>Wasting a line on an open curly brace
>Pronouncing it "ghif"
>Using vim
>liking skub
>hating skub
And the faggots never stopped arguing...
Holy fuck that code looks like shit
>not putting the opening bracket on the same line
literal fucking cancer
