Lol you are a retard. Book is really showing and authoritarian exsample of the Socialist state, that promotes equality, while some are more equal. It shows that political elite of 1% scumbags who never change in history, have found a way to manipulate tehnology to get total control of the individual person. Monopoly of the politics and monopoly of the economy that is possesed by the state, and all those free shops are either honeypots or some lowlifes that distance themself from system.
The book explicitly holds of from calling out Nazis or Communists, because those in control are neither. They don't care if they have to genocide, redistribute wealth, purge, or give some "sense" of individual freedom, as long as two things are not contested. Elites power and their preservation. The way that system works is to burn the bridge of succes that individuals can take, instead making them dependent on a welfeare. So if you displease the state by even thinking, good bye food,water and better to say life.
In the end it is open to interpretacion but it's meaning is to give us warning of what tehnological advancment can bring, small confiscacion of the personal freedom, inchs by inchs. But best parallel you can make with those people shoutin B.B to screen and praising their sheeple life can be seen it todays liberal(socialists) who purposely want bigger wellfare there fore creating a fixation on the goverment.
But that book was writen without consideration(probably because that was still unknown then) of genetical modification as well as mechanical augmentacion. I mean i am not a luddite, i want go have genetically modified wings and shit, but temtation to use it to reprogram human beings to "fit in" is nevertheless irresistable.
That collective future if waiting for us, a hivemind that nobody will escape.
