Can I microwave my socks?

Veeky Forums, need help quickly, can I microwave my socks in order to dry them fast and stealthily? I've tried drying them with hairdryer and it's too slow and too loud. I'm worried that they'd melt in the microwave.

Mission success. Used different socks tho, I like ones from the first pic too much to risk melting them in microwave.

For future reference you can safely microwave humid socks in microwave.

I've just put them on a plate, then into the microwave for 10s, touchey, still a bit humid, additional 10s, touchey, dry as girls when they see me, and voila.

It worked without a hitch? I have a friend who tried this once and all they ended up with was warm, moist, smelly socks.

It most likely depends on the socks. Mine were fortunately fine, smelled like freshly washed and microwaved socks and my feet are fine as well.

I think we need to run more tests with different sock types.

On one hand, it's autistic as fuck.
On the other hand, I'm curious.
