I'm moderately capable of becoming decently intelligent, but I don't know how to go about doing so. I'm asking for guidance. What would you recommend?
How do I become smart?

I'm not falling for this meme. I'm looking for self-improvement.
If you truly desire to be "smart" all you have to do is "think"
Forget general intelligence and transferable skills and just master the topic or skill you are most interested in.
1)Stop listening to rap or rock or pop, only listen to classical music, I recommend bach, beethoven and chopin
2)Instead of watching movies, listen to podcasts, I recommand HelloInternet and the Joe Rogan Podcast
3)Solve mathematical problems to keep the logical part of your brain trained
4)Avoid sugar
5)Read books/listen to audiobooks
This is what normalfags do to feel smarter. Really shitty placebo tier advice.
Okay what's your trick then shlomo
>define your goal
>put in every single minute you can spend in mindful deliberate practice with the best instruction possible
>optimize learning quality, include proven concepts for short and long term retention like spaced repetition, the testing effect, building associations and using mnemonics to get the best value for your invested time
>embrace the feeling of the fool since you will feel dumb forever no matter how much you learn on the path of mastery
>self-experiment to build a personal language of controlling yourself
>experiment with the fundamentals of your desired skill
>kill all distractions, strengthen your focus trough the pomodoro technique and meditation
>focus on radical change if you want the biggest gains possible
>optimize your health trough working out, diet and proper sleep
>kill every shallow social relationship you have
>stay out of your comfort zone
Of course it's completely unrealistic to truly achieve the goals listed on here. The idea is to get as close as possible though.
