Just say it’s like a label or some shit. “A price tag is assigning a value to the article of clothing.” Then abstract and generalize. I don’t know how people have trouble with variables but being an autist about it just fuels peoples avoidance of math

I'm not convinced that rotation matrices are an appropriate and understandable way to derive trig formulas to precalc students who know squat about linear algebra.

Yeah rotation matrices are for chumps. At least teach them about quaternions and abstract algebra

Bruh, I didn't say that, I'm just saying I used to come here from a couple years back, I probably wouldn't have seen a thread this bad. Not impossible, but I probably wouldn't have. I haven't checked how much worse the other boards may or may not have gotten.
