Still, the more you read, the more you realise politics is meaningless and being a good man is more important.

Except literally everyone can fit nicely into an already established ideology. Ideologies are already pretty broad, and humans being humans are fundamentally similar at a group level. People may differ on the specifics but the specifics aren't typically the point of contention.

The more you read college-approved material, sure. But the more I read books that would not be considered PC for academia, the more right wing I become. It quickly becomes clear that there are certain topics off limits in modern academia today.

The entire reason they are pushing identity politics is to hurt the upper classes. They know that working class white people will always support white nationalism over class consciousness so they've given up on them and instead are assembling a coalition of everyone who isn't white.
