While doing dishes at 4AM, I thought of this drug and tossed it together in Photoshop.
Is something like this possible? If it is, does something like this exist? If it doesn't exist, why the fuck not?
Sedative and melatonin to put me to sleep and keep me to sleep.
A delay (Probably doesn't work this way...) to keep the caffeine out of my system during my sleep.
Caffeine begins release shortly before I wake up.
NADH...I don't know anything about this, but it supposedly helps with alertness and energy in the morning. My biggest problem waking up is that I'm too groggy and disoriented to remember why I want to wake up and I convince myself it's okay to sleep.
maybe take Xanax, wait a little while and toss in vyvanse right before bed, but only the lis-dextroamphetamine(slow release dextro) parts of it or just the slow release parts of concerta(Ritalin) which would be esier because concerta is a layered, pressed pill and vyvanse is mixed beads in a capsule. maybe you can also put the stimulant inside of something that will take a while to digest, and idk about methlphenidate but if you are using amphetamines I know for a fact that an acidic stomach ph will metabolize it slower. or you know maybe an alarm clock next to a timed coffee maker? with a line of coke on top of it ive had success with that method
Bentley Moore
Why not just buy a coffee maker that you can set a timer on and have a nice hot cup of joe waiting for you when you wake up? Your big problem with making a caffine delay is that in 8 hours its already been mostly digested. Time release just means it doesn't all dissolve at once, but you're getting an uptake of the chemical as soon as your gut juices dissolve the outer layer of the pill.
Evan Lewis
If you're asking about layers. Yes. There are quite a few time release layered opiates on the market.
Your hypothetical pill has to have its layers survive digestive acids across time. You're balancing a lot of chemical interactions occurring in the body.
Your hypothetical pill could exist I think, as you described it.
Neat idea.
William Carter
Sure this might work... but you are over engineering a solution to a non existent problem. Why do you need caffeine to wake you up? just use an alarm clock? Or just stop being a degenerate loser and fix your sleep habits
Samuel Stewart
Something like that would be easy to manufacture with today's pharmaceutics but no one would waste their time and resources manufacturing something like that. The market would be tiny and the benefits of the drug would be insignificant, if it even worked at all. Caffeine is not really known as a potent "waking agent".
Benjamin Harris
Stealing this idea.
Lucas Martin
Why do people drink it to feel more awake?
Caleb Gray
Placebo? Maybe the higher caffeine content? I’m no doctor but I assume those two
Justin Sanders
youre retarded user, if this pill existed and worked as advertised re you never wake up feeling like you want to kill yourself people would pay vast sums
