Fuck you

There is a 50/50 chance you are not enraged, which is therefore unlikely, which is therefore dismissed.

>criticizing a thought experiment
>"it's highly unlikely"

How about saying Descartes is a radical skeptic though? Surely a greater crime

If by "greater" you mean "more commonplace," sure. I'm quite used to pseuds misinterpreting Descartes at this point, but I rarely run across the caliber of derelict moron who would dismiss an *explicitly unreal thought experiment* by saying, in effect, "this probably couldn't be real." It's so stupid it's almost a non-sequitur.

these are my favourite threads hahaha

Sarcasm?

As clownish as the books on the right look, I would still prefer them over the sterile identical book series on the left.

I like how that picture was originally made to allude to the Pornhub guy, but now it's reused to talk about Descartes himself.

Huh?

lmao i remember that greentext

classic

its funny because im a theist and i actually think my IQ corresponds

damn reactionaries and egoists got me though :\

>I once had to write an essay in school
You just know that he experienced praise for the first time in his life from his 9th grade teacher after writing that.

They're nicely made hardcovers. The designs are too garish though.

I think we've reached he pinnacle of trolley problems

there's no way that greentext actually happened, right?

Nah.

Why does this make me want to get into Stirner

you know, I've got a lot of sympathy for other-kin but this image always makes me laugh.

thanks, user

There's more to it.
This has to be my all time favorite greentext.

He's not barrel-kin he's dog-kin.

4.200 words

Nobody actually likes boys on /a/, we're all obsessing over one specific 12-year-old girl at the moment and waiting for konosuba s3

Boys were even LESS popular in 2014.
Boys belong here.

now there's a picture I can agree on!

Actually, he was more like a last man, he followed Antisthenes around like a starry eyed teenage girl and live to be 89. The last man lives longest.

Kurt Godel had such wicked intelligence that he spooked himself to death.

IQ is totally meaningless.

...

Requesting the screencap

None of this is funny.

I'm still waiting for someone to post the "I'm the number one Husserl scholar in the world and I'm $600K in debt working three shifts at Wendy's" greentext.

That at least seems plausible.

>paranoid schizophrenic
>such wicked intelligence

This is what anti-psychiatrists actually believe

Well, the "wicked intelligence" thing was a joke, but as far as I'm aware he had high IQ and was never diagnosed with schizophrenia.

holy shit

I have the ones on the right for The Iliad and The Odyssey, but only them because they looked hella cool (fire and water patterned, not as clownish as the other ones pictured).

The fact that rule nÂș1 is "rules are spooks" makes that rule a spook. Oh God.

Veeky Forums memes involve to much reading to hold my attention

i see comments like these on every porn video/picture site. what do these people get out of it? immersion?

I think it's more about leaving your stamp on the video/site. It's like signing a guestbook or "X was here" graffiti.

If you think online IQ tests are an actual approximation of what a real IQ test is, then you actually belong in the double digits.

What do you score on SAT tests or ASVABs?

>I've got a lot of sympathy for other-kin
I hear plebbit is just the right place for people of your kind.

there is a parallel here

It's a very useful misinterpretation - what else is the meditations good for if not for introducing the skeptical hypothesis and changing the paradigm of philosophical thought?
Its not like his 'proof' of god is any good, or his cogito

I hear that it's best for your kind to stay in its containment zone.

did max predict automation?

This thing only makes sense if you read the original greentext.

Nice chart but what exactly is Nick Land so happy about? Is this what he wants?
