You have obviously never been to /tv/. Makes OP look like a brainmeister.

Daily reminder that we could of been bionetically superior beings by now if it wasn’t for one thing.

Hint, it rhymes with pigeon.

you can have a look at kiwifarms if you want to see something far more idiotic

You know that religion had nothing to do with the collapse of Rome right?

>he believes in the medieval dark age meme
gb2/his/

I don't think religion killed Rome.
It was couple of other things. Economic fuckup, housing bouble (latifundia) and the invading barbarians to name some.

Religion did however restrained development and quicker getting back on track. On the other hand it also added to development - created schools, copied books, sponsored art.

Would we be singularity right now without christianity? Or at least more developed? Most likely noty. Nature abhors vacuum (so does society). There would be some other religion or ideology. Not islam - it wouldn't exist without christianity. Probably some outside empire to kill and rape Europe.

Christianity allowed Europe to have some uniting force. A union. That means lessening tensions inside (or at least a way for mediations) and better defence from outside armies.

I'm an atheist btw.
