Math is just a bunch of make-believe bullshit

>Math is just a bunch of make-believe bullshit
True. But if we play our cards right and please Satan then when we prove a theorem what we actually did was rewrite the entire mechanism of the universe to fit our theorem. That is how Newton did it. There actually used to be a finite number of primes (like 50) before Euclid "proved" there were infinitely many.

Everything's make-believe bullshit, math just does a better job clarifying exactly what your assumptions are.

>math just does a better job clarifying exactly what your assumptions are.
R U FUKIN KIDDING

>let S a set such that...
Wait wait wait what is a set?
>set is a definable collection of elements
What is an element?
>element is any distinct object that defines the set
...what? Okay nvm let R={x | x doesnt contain x}
>oh fuk... TEEHEE WE GOT THESE NEW CRYPTIC AXIOMS NOW YOU UNDERSTAND EVEN LESS WHATS GOING ON JUST SO WE CAN MANIPULATE OUR FANCY SYMBOLS

That's better clarifying for you??

>user, math is in EVERYTHING!!! *spins around singing "The Hills are Alive"*

No. Nature does not have math. Math is not in everything. Math is just another form of language to poorly quantify what we can see and understand. We apply math to nature.

interesting how your shitpost got to us error-free though

>poorly quantify
What's a better option, a reformed mathematics? Anything else is too vague or convoluted to be practically applied, especially at the level of automated complexity you find in this day.

>itt
retards

What isn't?

...

>NOW YOU UNDERSTAND EVEN LESS WHATS GOING ON JUST SO WE CAN MANIPULATE OUR FANCY SYMBOLS
Yes, and? Being able to effectively encode operations is way more important than making sure idiots like you aren't confused by them. You're only able to have this conversation in the first place because of an elaborate global network of machines that run off of that sort of encoding. And I'm going to go out on a limb here and say SQL existing is more important than keeping ideas stupid enough for random Wildberger shitposters to comprehend.

You realize you're replying to bait?

I agree with you but still

brainlet

If the sum of the squares of the two sides of a triangle are equal to the square of the remaining side, then that triangle has a right angle.

This is a fundamental truth of the universe. It was true before pyhagoras was born and after he died. An alien on the other side of the universe would come to the exact same conclusion. The specific formulation would be different but the concept would be identical. The earth could be vaporised and it would still be true. From the big bang to the end of the universe, no matter where or when in this universe, if something intelligent thinks about it, they'd all come to this conclusion. Math is a fundamental property of the universe.

There is no such thing as objective truth you brainlet.

You can’t prove that the devil doesn’t exist.

>let
Why do brainlets have so much trouble with this one? Serious question.

>no such thing as objective truth
So that's your subjective opinion then? Great, I'll go ahead and disregard it.

Numbers don't exist either.
Ever held one in your hand?
Math is just lies.

who are you quoting

t. Feminist studies major

>Nature does not have math
Write an autobiography so we can learn about what it's like to be this fucking dumb

>Math is just another form of language to poorly quantify what we can see and understand. We apply math to nature.
>Redness is just another form of word to poorly quantify what we can see and understand. We apply redness to red shit.
Colors confirmed for not real because they're just LANGUAGE.

But user colors are not real. It's just a way we perceive different frequencies of light
