Crossing The Water is probably my favorite of Plath's.

You should check out Joe Bolton, he's a much lesser-known poet from the 80s and 90s that killed himself the day after turning in the manuscript of his final collection as his thesis for his master's degree. I read his piece "The Light We Dance Through" here He reminds me a lot of Plath.

There are singing exercises for deeper voice. They work instantly but the effect from them last an hour at most. You need to do them for quite some time (6months + -) until there is a permanent change and you no longer need to do the exercises.
