Is Zizek an Accelarationist?

he sure looks like one lol

Of course he is, he just can't say openly or he will be simply banned from the major medias, while being treated as a menace in most of the countries he often visits.
He just implies it every once in a while, the major examples has been his initial endorsement for Trump, which he then cautiously recontextualized in order to keep mantaining his credibility.
He does not think that this system can be fixed, nor he is satisfied by the current state of humanity: obviously he sees a potential immense crisis as a possible push towards a new global project, which hopefully will be less corrupted and fallacious than this one.

>Accelarationist
I don't know, but he's definitely a crypto-fascist.

>Of course he is
I mean, ya, wasn't that exactly the impetus behind why he said he would vote for Trump?

Yes, but he later denied it and said that he was being ironic (sure, thing Zizek).

Almost all great political thinkers are accellerationists these days, and sadly most have to stay closeted about it if they want to eat and have shelter.

It's strange that he felt the need to do that. It was pretty clear he meant it, but only because he thought it would bring about necessary change.

More like a Retardationist
