Nude Aliens?

I had a random thought awhile ago that's been bugging me ever since.

Assume for the moment (despite the lack of hard evidence) that most of the eye-witness accounts of alien abductions are true - that occasionally some space bois decide to come to Earth and perform experiments on humans.

Why are they always naked in these stories?

Human started wearing clothing long ago, and this trend doesn't seem to stop anytime soon. Even though nudity isn't intrinsically sexual, no one would be able to focus on anything but sex if we decided to go naked all of the sudden. We wouldn't be nearly as productive as a species and would likely never become space-faring.

So why would the aliens be naked? If their biology is similar to our own, they obviously reproduce similarly and would likely have ran into the same dilemma as us.

One could argue that they also do not appear to have genitals in these descriptions, and that perhaps they removed them long ago and hence do not need clothes in order to avoid sexual distractions. But wouldn't this seem a bit extreme, given that it severely inhibits reproductive ability? Or perhaps the advent of gene editing, artificial wombs and other technologies allowed them to transcend standard reproductive procedures. Could they instead be merely biological vessels and not the actual organisms themselves?

Because that's how Hollywood has always depicted them and that's what these fake stories are based on.

If we assume they are true, then there must be some reason they are screwing with earthlings.

This boils down to two things: they can travel insane distances at little cost and, either the universe is filled with life or they are nearly omniscient of things in the cosmos.

There is practically zero reason to study earthlings beyond some statistical analysis in almost any scenario. There is definitely no reason to want to claim Earth even with the commonly cited motive of mining gold.

In spite of this, we are to assume they are here. They are a species so whimsical as to kidnap and anal probe people for pornography and somehow not whimsical enough to begin open trade or other types of conflict. All of this and you are wondering why they are naked?

The only reason I can think of is so Jesus has a litmus test for the wickedness and perversity of man. Final judgment begins on such a day that a thirteen year old male of esteemed heritage masturbates to skull fucking one of the greys. Yep, right there in the bible for sure.

Zeta reticuli grays are not naked. They have a tight form fitting garment. The only other aliens that have contacted humans directly are the tall whites, and they wear similar garments for thermal equilibrium
