You should read more than that by Kafka, preferably everything he ever wrote

...

Including, unironically, his diary, desu.

Yeah, that's what I meant, and his letters too. Everything is art, literally without exception

...

...

The 19th century list is god-tier.

No French lit chart?

afraid not, friend

anyone have the more recent latin american one? with mario vargas llosa, etc.

the lack of leskov is disgusting tb.h

Pretty good, Don Quijote and Tom Jones are big absences. Suprised at no Flann O'Brien as well.

Attn autodidacts

Is there a Lovecraft chart? I've got the complete works. With what should I start?

Really liking this one and I believe it's worth expanding

>Gibbon is banned
>two video recommendations

I can't read Kafka without laughing, later on learned that Kafka cringed from laughter when reading his own stuff and felt vindicated.

fuck off

>no De Rerum Natura

Do people take this seriously?

Lol commies hate literally everyone.

"anarchism"

Does someone have that Harry Potter guide? The one that says to start at the 5th book.

>non sjw feminism
> simone de beauvoir, rosa luxemburg and muh spainish revoulution are all mentioned in this list

Does anyone have a chart with chinese literature?

...

...

how to start with dostoevsky?

>Rosa Luxemburg
>tumblr
What Rosa Luxemburg have you read?

Nietzsche?

Crime and Punishment

It's that easy

and then?

That list is some pretty good bait. Saved.

>Dude if we just go back to an earlier stage of the disease everything will be fine!

>no pill
>this level of ideology

The Idiot.

...

Does this chart imply that the books listed are neutral?

/thread

It's as wonderful as I remembered

Crime and Punishment is a good introduction. Beyond that it doesn't matter too much, but I'd suggest saving TBK till you're more familiar with his work.

Order I read him in: Crime and Punishment, Notes from Underground, The Idiot, Demons, The Adolescent, Brothers Karamazov. During the whole thing read bits and pieces from A Writer's Diary.

Poor Folk and White Nights are also worth checking out.

read Letter to His Father first though

Nice pic, I've always wanted to learn Russian

Here's another one, not as good as the first

That page hasn't been updated in over a year and a half

Is there a chart like this for Orthodoxy?

Why?
Just to understand his (irrationally dominant) fear of authority/authoritarianism?

stop making these threads

thanks mate

Is there a guide for becoming an autodidact?

How up-to-date is that though

stop being such a dick (oh shit gotem)

>no satyricon

I was posting a thread every few days but some nerds reported it so I can't really post it without getting banned. Who knew that a guide to reading shit on your time isn't literature related?

any david foster wallace charts?

bump

What do you like about it?

Is there one like this for Spanish?

Good, that stupid smug Pepe you always used makes me irrationally angry.

Nice dog, but step up the weak camera work senpai.

Thanks a lot friend. Just what i need.

Hmm... I like that one. If anyone is interested, Rubicon is a good modern nonfiction book about Caesar taking over Rome.

Read Fluent Forever by Gabriel Wyner, you'll be able to put together your own plan for any language with that book.

I read that already, but thank you for reminding me

Notes from the underground is fun to read. Very easy too

This

here's some stuff 4U

I didn't understand the significance of In the Penal Colony. I thought it funny, but that's about it.

more stuff

Thouse comments, wew.

I didn't use the smug pepe. I instead posted a list of habits to practice and books to read.

I remember those. They were fucking annoying, I should've reported them too.

God forbid somebody gets off their ass and reads a book. That would be deplorable. Not Veeky Forums whatsoever.

new wave/soft science fiction

This is great, thanks user

no problemo lad
post habits fa...friendo

Any charts for economics?

>imgur.com/gallery/U4OHY
comments made me vomit
I fucking hate normies

yes so much has changed right?

>thinking Veeky Forums has studied economics outside of marxism

stop spamming your mediocre video in every thread that mentions DFW you fag

I took one macroeconomics class in high school and have read all of Marx's work.

checkmate, fascists

I recently purchased 'kafka on the shore' (yet to read) after having read '1Q84' and enjoying it. Are all his other works really that much better than it?

Why's Gibbon banned?
