At this point, just use a fucking interlibrary loan system.

I just ordered "Pain" by Ernst Junger, finally did it. What should I expect? I'm in a low spot in my life and could really use motivation

Where do you buy your books?

nah I don't think so

Really shit.
abebooks or used stores or whatever. I've gotten some mint merchandise from library sales.

I can appreciate wanting to be thrifty and buying used books, but honestly if you're buying new books there's not really any reason not to use Amazon. I mean you can definitely find new books for cheaper, but Amazon is convenient and when you're talking about something as cheap as books the small amount of savings you're going to get from spending your time looking elsewhere is so insignificant. Plus you're not going to get fucked on shipping with Amazon like you will ordering from lots of other places.

On the argument of buying new vs used, again, I totally understand wanting to save money by buying used, but honestly the cost per hour of buying a new book is already so low that I personally don't really care enough to buy used.
