Who is making you pay 500$ for libgen?

>he actually pays for them
Cuck

>not using libgen

>$0 for a semester of required books because of school scholarship
>I get more money at the end of the semester once I sell them back to the bookstore
>only 2 classes will have books anyway
Good life

And why don't you just torrent them OP.
Last semester I practically didn't lost money because I torrented the fuck out the book my psych professor fucking /r/ at the first day and didn't put it on the bookstore "find your books".

>and another $50 per class to access the online homework

I found a shitload of my required books on pirate bay. Pretty sweet.

>Required books
What the fuck is that? If the professor is going to follow some book word by word what's the point of the class?

Jus befriend enough people. someone with a PDF of the book will be willing to share in my experience

>$0 per semesters because lecturers post lecture notes and assignments on their websites because that's literally the only logical thing to do
Kekking at the state of American education rn.

What kind of cuckshed do you live in?

>This user
Some profs in USA do it too.

>$1600 a semester for required health insurance

>200$ for required books
only two classes with required books this term

>$0 for books because they are provided free for everyone by university's library

>>$1600 a semester for required health insurance
What the FUCK?!
Where?

I hog on the library books for the whole semester.

Remember guys, capitalism should mean:
>The government takes care of everyone, but at the same time grants the freedom to its citizens of starting free enterprises as long as the government deems the business to not be risky or detrimental.
But instead, America has
>The government takes care of no one and says "FREE MARKET" like it is a magic spell, and then turns a blind eye while the rich use their "freedom" to fuck you over. In this case by bribing universities to make sure you have to pay for the most expensive textbooks.

Oh god, here comes the fucking yurofags...

Burgerland. I'm paying 7k/year for health insurance for myself and my wife (out of my 22k salary). Going to grad school in America is one of the worst mistakes of my life.

Daily reminder that Donald J. Trump just increased your taxes so I hope you are ready for those 7k to be taken away by the government. You have /pol/ to thank for that.

Oh, say, can't you see...

>Donald J. Trump just increased your taxes

Oh please, PLEASE explain. This should be hilarious.

"The land of the cucked, home of the capitalist slaves".

Historical reminder: Destroy all inferior cultures that manifest in your nation (In looking at you, African-American culture.)

and yet everyone tries to live there

His new tax plan would tax tuition waivers as income. Not that you'd know what any of that means, given that the average education level of a /pol/tard is "I dropped out of kinder".

No, only people from even shittier countries like Mexico or the Muslim world.

Oh wow, you really are brilliant. And mean ol' Donald J. Trump is then, after taking away the tuition waver, ALSO take away his 7k that he's paying for health insurance??

Fugg, then I should do more research on grad school desu.

>Mexico
>sandniggers
>2nd World
Is that your definition of "everyone"?

If your tuition waiver is of 50k then you will be taxed an extra 10k. That means either user pays 17k for taxes and health insurance and lives like a roach, or he stops paying for his health insurance to at least be able to afford toilet paper.

>library
>libgen + printer (faggots only)

library doesn't have everything or if they have the textbook you need there's only one and other peoples need it too

user pls

>faggots
Why the homophobia?

Universities will just have to stop valuing their tuition at highly-inflated amounts.

Yeah, problem is that the same handful of billionaires that bribed the government into getting this new tax code are the same billionaires that own literally everything, including the universities.

So, once again, capitalism shining as the best economic system possible.

>professor uses textbook X for years
>the library have only 1 textbook X

What

>professor uses textbook X for years
excuse me?

BAD GOY! DID YOU REALLY EXPECT CAPITALISM TO HAVE YOUR BACK? YOU HAVE TO BUY THE TEXTBOOK. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH LOGICAL SENSE IT MAKES TO PROVIDE IT. YOU MUST BUY IT. HERE, IT WILL BE 100 SHEKELS.

Firstly, you shouldn't speak politics on a science and math board. That's pathetic. Secondly, we have all of Republicans to thank for that - the GOP proposed that, not Trump specifically. I don't know about you, but under my current tax bracket, I will be paying less taxes next year under the reformed tax bill.

>sucks to suck m8

>he doesn't know about based textbook x

Is that like planet X? Nibiru? The Annunaki???

spookier...

>tfw all my books are on libgen
>tfw prefer having hardcopies of textbooks I like
>tfw government gibs me dat money for textbooks every quarter so I can buy any books, if i want to

The provision died

Grad Students' Tuition Waivers Will Remain Untaxed, After All : NPR - npr.org/2017/12/18/570941259/grad-students-tuition-waivers-will-remain-untaxed-after-all

>Not just stealing the fucking PDF yourself.

>tfw you go to a university where STEM students get their textbooks paid for
