Your brain lies to you. More news at 11

Its either false memories or a mild epileptic event, it varies from case to case, but 99.9% of the time its one of those two things.

How do I intentionally trigger dejavu?

IMO it's when you see a close pattern/similarity between something that just happened and a far away almost forgotten memory. That's what I always think when I get it.

Maybe you know some books where it was written?

It happens a lot when I'm driving

Ive never read books on the subject because frankly its not that interesting to me. I have read a few studies though. Just google “deja vu epilepsy” if you want more information.

Thanks a lot, user!

I've heard it happens when an event is stored as a short term memory before the brain has created the conscious experience of the event.
