nah i believe you can use them for a lot of different languages. ive used sublime for java, c++ and haskell, and notepad++ for haskell.

Spyder: Ugly and completely useless for anyone using a language that isn't slow.
RStudio: Ugly and completely useless for anyone using a language that isn't R but pretty good for R.
