What comes after nietzsche?

what comes after nietzsche?

Kierkegaard. Nietzsche and Stirner are both crude forms of Kierkegaard.

Heidegger

Spinoza

This
My boy Keerk literally has the answer

Is this post post-modernism?

depends what for.
are both correct reasons depending on whether you want faith or physicality
if you didn't before or plan on going deleuze et al

ideally nietzsche comes after nietzsche until all you read are herakleitos fragments but not all of us have such hopes

Heidegger's, Derrida's, Klossowski's, Deleuze's, Foucault's, Bataille's, Jasper's, etc. Nietzsche.

Deleuze's is a must regardless of your opinion of him or his interpretation. Heidegger is a nice read (although a long one, but repetitive since they're courses). Klossowski's book is dedicated to Deleuze and a great (albeit even more excentric) bonus to Deleuze's. Foucault is the obvious route and not as weird as the others. Jaspers is something of a 101. Bataille is just plain weird. Sloterdijk has a lot of Nietzsche, but I haven't read his book about him yet. There are others, including some professors who analyze and compare all these interpretations.

this based Juden

Oh and Derrida's interpretation is also weird, yet brilliant at times if you know how to approach it. Not just Spurs but also the bit about Heidegger's reading in Of Grammatology.

Nothing
Nihilism is a philosophical dead-end, and while we're all very impressed at your (or, his) ability to draw an extended logical conclusion that nothing has value, that energy could have been better spent doing literally anything else, up to and including killing yourself.

It's like spending hours and hours looking at the bathroom mirror just to deduce that your reflection is meaningless. Congratulations, you completely missed the point and ran headfirst into the doorframe on the way out.

The post was post-post-modernism.

m8 you're worse than kierkegaard posters who are basically protestants. fuck off if you haven't read shit.

Derrida
He said after not before

Imagine reading nietZsche without first having read Spinoza lol.

Imagine reading anything without first having started with the greeks lol.

Imagine reading

Imagine reading Nietzsche without first having contracted syphilis and having it develop into neurosyphilis lol.

Lol @ no Freud

Imagine not having already been introduced to all the valuable Greek ideals through western education lmao

what comes after heidegger and adorno?

Zizek

Nietzsche is not a nihilist. He is literally the opposite. Read a fucking book.

>believing in opposites
>not transvaluing your values through and into nihilism
read the books in question

I'm sick of really trite anti-nihilists on this board who seem to make a purposeful parade of their triteness.

You know, there's something interesting albeit cynical and harsh, something of emotional and intellectual depth, and people like you come in with your irritating obliviousness and think they're geniuses for not understanding it. You remind me of Nietzsche's observation of a grim cheerfulness before serious things that is a sign of strength and gained by suffering, and, on the other hand, an oblivious and unthinking cheerfulness that ignores the serious out of weakness.

also protip nietzsche isn't a nihilist

And what does trnasvaluing values through nihilism mean? Existentialism. Not nihilism.

>existentialist which doesn't even admit a leap of faith
>doesn't know about existential nihilism
it's like having that awful backwoods cousin over

it's true

And by Kierkegaard, he means Alex Kierkegaard. Just letting everyone know.

Camus then Sartre

Baudrillard. Crucial for understanding modern society.

Only people who understand Hegel get what this guy is saying.

What comes after Heidegger? Levinas isn't a valid answer.

Voegelin, Jose Ortega y Gasset, Gadamer, Habermas, Sloterdijk.

Fully aligned chakra's Übermensch with full awareness of the spirit of history, a king philosopher with a grasp of his intellectual intuition. The being is no stranger to him since he fully understood the concept through and advances form of hermeneutics that us uttermensch will never understand. He also has the mangekyou sharingan.

Bazooper.

this level of mental retardation is unprecedented even for Veeky Forums.

1. Nietzsche was the opposite of nihilism, you absolute fucking mongoloid. Calling Nietzsche a nihilist is like calling Buddha a hedonist.
2. Nihilism is not a dead-end, go read legit existentialist text before posting like a handicapped brainlet.

>Nietzsche was the opposite of nihilism
it's not that simple. he understood that one couldnt defeat nihilism by simply opposing it in traditional sense, that it only grew stronger with opposition. for example in the interpretation of heidegger he never successsfully disengaged from nihilism even if his whole project was aimed at overcoming it.

Thanks for the approval.

Imagine reading the greeks without a deep understanding of egyptian mythology and knowledge lmao
