He doesn't read African Veeky Forums?
Things Fall Apart is a great read. I'm not exactly interested in the rest of it.
You're right. I also don't read swedish literature. I have my interests, you're just racist.
Honestly, the only reason I don't is that I don't know any and don't trust most other sources of recommendations on the internet, but if someone posts a little reading list (including something about african myths and etc.) I'd be very glad.
That's exactly what I wasn't thinking about*** you uneducated FOOL!!
...
Camus is African.
Elope with the Egyptians
Cavafy, Mahfouz, Ibrahim
Try the redpill, fools. Racism is natural
>he doesn't read St. Augustine
wew
nothing.
nothing at all.
i like j.m coatzee kek
Bretty gud desu
Worth a read?
It's not African in origin, but Kapuscinski's Africa works are fantastic.
Natural? Yes. Desirable or useful heuristic with which to view, interpret, and act upon the world? That's more of a maybe, imo. It's highly dependent on the context within which you'e working.
I mean much of the renewed interest in "African literature" is in the form of pseuds chasing a status-signaling veneer of worldliness and not the experience for its own sake, but I'd hardly write it all off as essentially worthless as a result of that.
go to the library fuckhead
African literature is an oxymoron.
i had to read Half of a Yellow Sun in high school and i actually enjoyed it
My fucking barbarian
>reading works from a continent defined more than any other by its oral tradition
